Kings Head
● Open“Lovely Christmas meal with my son and his girlfriend. The food was piping hot, and the waitress service was spot on. The only thing that I didn't like was how cold the toilets were.... the hand washing water was icy cold, and the drier was blowing out even colder air! Apart from that, it was a lovely Christmasy afternoon, and we will definitely be going back”

Golden Lion
● Open“Great place, amazing decor and really good food! Service was great and the people were very polite. We had fish and chips and it was delicious. The only thing that didn’t stick was the music, it was modern pop/rap but it wasn’t playing loud so it didn’t bother us and we could chat easily and comfortably. We came around 6 PM”

Old Swan
● Open“We were looking for a place to eat after British Museum and on the way to V&A Museum we passed the Old Swan. It was a bank holiday but thankfully the kitchen was already open, so we ordered our standard for pubs which is Fish & Chips. It did not disappoint, service was good and the pub was clean and quite well lit with big windows. They had the EPL and darts on tv. Nice place to hangout with friends.”

Shelverdine Goathouse
● Open“I went to the Shelverdine Goathouse last night for the quiz night, and it was a great night out. The quiz was great fun and there was a really nice atmosphere in the pub, and they also have a little kids corner to keep the little ones happy which is always a nice touch, but I want to give a special mention to the chef Alfie. The food last night was on point, even though menu choices are limited, the food is cooked to perfection. I am a notoriously fussy eater and he cooked my food to my specific instructions which was appreciated and it tasted amazing. My partner had a beef and bone marrow burger and he said it was very nice and wasn’t dry like some burgers he’s had recently. We will be going back to the Shelverdine Goathouse soon, for quizzes and food! I really recommend this place!”

Plough & Harrow and Sinbin
● Open419 High Road Leytonstone, London E11 4JU, United Kingdom“Very beautifully looking cozy old pub in the middle of High Street, only 5-10 minutes by bus from Stratford stations, Leytonstone stations and Westfield Shopping Centre (buses 257, 308) or short walk from Leyton station. It located next to a small but pretty local park too. It offers cooked meals, party hiring venue, food and drinks... and recently started to offer Salsa lessons! There is also a heated garden. I have seen wheelchair access outside too.”

Catford Bridge Tavern
● Open“Great selection of drinks, had a gluten free menu for drinks too. Does cocktail deals at certain times. A few different screens dotted about showing sports and a pool table. Prices are very reasonable and lots of seating. Close to the station which is handy and close to the centre. Look out for the food specials too if nothing on the menu jumps out at you. Food menu is your pub favourites with a few others thrown in. Recommended.”
