“Absolutely love this place! The food and service is amazing! My boyfriend and I have been coming here for a couple of years now and it's the perfect date night spot! Maurizio always makes us feel so welcome and we always get great service. We had a lovely valentines meal here last night and despite the restaurant being very busy the food and service was on point as usual. “My first visit to The Red Lion, I’m ashamed to say, especially as I used to live around the corner for over twelve years!! Anyway, attended tonight for a Rotary Club function, and what I sincerely hope will be our new club meeting venue each week. There were 11 of us tonight, and the food was served to perfection. Portion size is superb. I had the nachos, which was huge, and did me proud. Others ordered various items and were were all equally impressed. My friend sitting next to me had the pork ribs. I swear there was half a pig, and having had to help him, I know what I’m having next time. Staff friendliness and positive attitude is excellent and put the venue we are currently at to shame. With great parking in the road adjacent, and close by, after 6.30pm, as well as the bus service too, with stops almost outside; life just gets better. Oh, free WiFi, pleasant surroundings, and great food (at sensible prices), all make up a perfect package. Will I be back? You bet your life I will, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone.”
