Thyme at the Tavern
“Great place to stay in a small village not far from lgw. Amazing breakfast. Great pub full of locals and impressive live music on Fridays. Will return.”
Jaipur Restaurant
“Really pleasant evening. Booked for a large group (12) which was a mixture of clients & colleagues who all enjoyed the night - Jaipur delivered in both good food & decent service. Highly recommend the Tandoori prawn starter & Railway Lamb Tava for the main. Delicious.”
The Crown Pub
“From the website photos you can’t tell how good this place is. But on every level it’s awesome. The highlight are the staff who pip the super comfortable bed and room for excellent resins to stay here”
The Prince Regent
“Decent sports bar feel with the added traditional pub exterior. Nice friendly staff and good food”
The Castle Inn
“Me and my friend (pictured) drove here and were able to park conveniently right in front of the pub! The staff were extremely friendly, one of them even laughed at my jokes which is a rarity. The Guinness was superb and this can be telling of the establishment as a whole. They also offered us a rewards card on arrival which gifted a free pint for every six purchased - very handy if you're going as a large group! The Heineken silver wasn't for us but you can't please everyone in this day and age. Will definitely be back here in the near future.”
Hamilton's B&B and Restaurant (Sri Lankan Cuisine)
“The owner was so helpful and accomodating. Nothing was a problem and I really enjoyed staying in the guesthouse. The buffet was so fresh and tasty, one of the best I have eaten. Highly recommended.”
The Golden Grove
“Oh my goodness, my chocolate delice dessert was amazing. As was the fish and chips. It was lovely sitting outside. Staff were very busy with the functions going on, but were very welcoming. I'd like to go again.”
Winning Post - Pub & Grill
“I would recommend The Winning Post- good food, free large car park and spacious venue. We were a table of 4 and went to eat. I have to say that they’re sharing nachos are some of the nicest I have tasted- the freshly made tortilla chips are really nice. It would be nicer to have some more guacamole but I often think this with nachos- this is my preferred dip. The menu has a number of vegan options which is not always common and the allergen menu online is really useful. The service was good- any minor issue resolved without delay. Staff were welcoming. Overall I would recommend and plan to return.”
Premier Inn London Twickenham Stadium hotel
“The staff were fantastic. We were staying overnight for a funeral and had a family gathering catered for us there. Everything was done on time and beautifully cooked.”
