“Had a wonderful dinner at Giggling Squid - Hornchurch. The decor was beautiful, the staff were friendly and the service was great. We visited on a Monday night and the restaurant was buzzing. We had the sharing platter for starters with prawn crackers, and the Thai melting beef, jungle curry and stir fry veg for our mains. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and will be returning soon.”

The Coop Team Members (Adam, Mrs Nancy and the others)are very helpful apart from the securities are always following the customers as robbers. Last night an Indian security grabbed my arms without any reason and I said to him, do not touch me. All the Coop Staff know me as I am constantly buying in there. Even I have my Membership card. So do not be annoyed if the securities think or get wrong conclusions against you in there.”

Getting here via public transport, Elm Park (District line/Hammersmith & City) would seem to be your best bet. Suttons Avenue (Stop S) via 165, 365 and 372 for buses. “Only one other table eating when we arrived mid-afternoon for our first visit to Tunch Kitchen on a lovely bank holiday Monday. We ordered the Turkish wine, which was gorgeous and were given some tasty, warm flatbreads with dips (one garlic and one chilli). We ordered from the set two course menu at £9.50 per person. Each of the meals were really delicious and portions sizes were quite big. We were offered more bread and dips with the main and were given a complementary dessert to share. Theo, our waiter, was brilliant and the decor and ambience were great. Will definitely be going back again very soon!”

“I tried the Fish & Chips for the first time at Poseidons and I was pleasantly surprised. 10/10. I called them to place an order for 1 Large Cod and Regular Chips, asking the proprietor can you cook me a fresh cod with my chips, and he said, no problem, there’ll be ready in 10 mins. Just long enough for me to walk to Poseidons from where I live. I enjoyed them very much and will be ordering the same again, when I don’t feel like cooking at home. Highly recommend, and the customer service was top notch, very welcoming and kind. :)”
