“Steven & Jo at O Vesu Van provided the pizzas for the evening meal at my wedding, and so many of my guests proclaimed them to be the best pizzas they’ve ever tasted! So so amazing. They were also prompt with replying to emails, on time on the day and couldn’t have worked harder to pump out the pizzas. Couldn’t fault them!”

“Me and my friend have been here almost every day for the last couple of weeks for lunch. The food is amazing and fresh. The service and staff are lovely. We are planning to go again next Tuesday and bring some more people with us. If you are vegan they have the Tofu & Avocado banh mi which is really good. Everything we have tried has been good and that's almost the whole menu. Would highly recommend.”

“I eat out every day. So I know quality over quantity. This little Italian restaurant always delivers high quality food and an experience. Only criticism I would have never known it’s there. I literally went in there by accident to try something new and I loved the food so much I haven’t stopped going back. I’ve eaten at this place for a good few years now. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile by Maisy who gave me a menu & advised me to come up to the counter when I was ready order. Now for the food, order what I usually would; Eggs Royale. Came really quickly & well presented. This is without a doubt the best Eggs Royale I’ve ever had. “Went to Penelope’s on Wednesday, it’s opening day. My daughter and I had the Penelope’s special pancakes. They were amazing with fresh fruit , syrup and clotted cream. The restaurant has been beautifully decorated inside and has an fab outdoor area. There is a farm shop which you can also access via the restaurant selling lots of local produce. I picked up some funky pasta, a baking kit for my daughter and some doggy treats . A super first experience and can’t wait to try the pizzas .”

Staff helpful and welcoming, we stayed further along the road at the Travelodge so this place was ideal for a night cap, then breakfast in the mornings. Spotlessly clean first thing in the morning! (Credit to your cleaner! ) Good place to visit. Good breakfasts too, enjoyed.”
