Cutting Point Barbers shop West Wickham
“Absolutely the best barbers in the area. Can’t fault them. Very friendly and very polite. Highly recommend this place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
Swan West Wickham
“Down to earth, good old fashioned proper pub. Staff beyond friendly. Prices great. Lovely food. No frills but does what it says on the tin. Relaxed and clean environment. Highly recommended.”
Crafty Barbers
“I’ve used Crafty Barbers many times now and all the cutters, but mainly Elliot. Always had a good cut. Plus it’s a happy, pleasant environment. I use the online booking which works well. So - well done guys and keep it up, thanks.”
Echo Hair Design
“Lovely place and friendly staff. Had my hair cut by Selma who was very polite and did a fantastic job of fixing my hair. Would be more than happy to keep going there to have my hair done in future.”
Brids Tanning and Beauty
“What can i say.. I have been going to Brid’s since it opened 3 years ago and I can honestly say i’d never choose anywhere else. Brid has always done my lashes and is honestly AMAZING and does them perfect every time. Overall the salon is BEAUTIFUL, all the girls are so lovely, caring and friendly and its such a nice atmosphere from the start to the end of any treatments.”
The Grind Café
“SUMMARY: Lovely friendly cafe / restaurant. Consistently good. We've visited on different days at different times - always hard-working, polite, diligent, and serve great quality food and drinks. Today's pictures are on a Sunday and the place is very busy - but we don't mind. It can be a bit noisy - but it's a cheerful chatty noise. We have been here when it's super-quiet and peaceful, so it's up to you to choose a good time depending on your mood. THE MENUS: Great choices of breakfast, healthy options, Mediterranean, brunch, lunch and snacks. We're never bored with the choices. Today's photos are the grilled chicken salad after the gym. Substantial, fresh and delicious. See photos of the menus. PRICES: very fair and reasonable - generous portions. DECOR & COMFORT: Contemporary look, nice, comfortable and a choice of indoor and outdoor. At the rear there is more outdoor seating in a cute yard but is down some steps. THE SERVICE: Always good. Very attentive and well trained staff. Eye contact and a genuine concern to make your visit good. They will change things, fix things and want to do the right thing for you. TOILETS: Very clean, smell-free, large, adequate with baby-changing fold down table. Step-free level access for buggies and wheelchairs. See photos. BUT... no handrails for the disabled which really would be a bonus. There was a chap in a wheelchair in the café when we visited, and it would be so much better putting a few more facilities for the less able. (Additionally, the Café entrance step could be corrected to allow for step-free access. It's very small, but I know from experience that even these small steps can be stressful for the less-able.) Finally, regarding the toilets: it is a fashion these days to install really high-powered hand driers. The one in this toilet, like many, is DEAFENING. At some stage, the law will change and these will be removed. Illogically loud. (And you can't put your wet fingers in your ears whilst trying to dry your hands! ) THE LOCATION: Busy part of West Wickham near a cross roads and the local council gym-swimming pool. So, parking outside is on the meter - see photos. The street across the road is free is you can find space (except 1-2 pm, Mon-Fri... be careful, you will get a ticket!). Or, pay to use the gym car-park. OVERALL: You can see from the ratings that The Grind is well respected and loved amongst the locals, the elderly, the young, parents with children & babies, groups, alone, the lads from the gym, the girls on a chatty afternoon... well liked by all. Cheerful, lively, successful. Well done to The Grind. We'll be back!”
Prima Donnas
“Visited with the family after a number of years absent and we were so glad we went back here. The staff are attentive and friendly, made the kids feel comfortable and adjusted any menu items when we needed to. The veal escalope was cooked very well for my main course and tasted lovely. The family fed and the piano player and singer rounded off a nice evening. Will not be leaving it as long as we did till the next time.”
Corzâ Cafe Bar Restaurant
“First time trying this place and will certainly go back again. Such a relaxed atmosphere. Good choice of food and not breaking the bank. Menu had variety for lunch and they serve an All day Breakfast too. I had the bubble and squeak with poached egg and the eggs were perfectly done with a nice runny yolk. You go up to the counter to place your order where you will see an array of yummy cakes. I met a group of friends and we were there for at least three hours but you are not made to feel rushed and we sat for a good 90 minutes after our food chatting away. Certainly going to spread the word with friends and family to try this place.”
Coney's Cafe and Restaurant
“Excellent cafe I had the pancakes breakfast number 1 that came with pancakes bacon sausage hashbrowns scrambled egg and toast all beautifully cooked and super tasty. The cafe itself is very clean and tidy with very friendly helpfull staff. The menu is stacked with all foods from super health to super treats and also great milkshakes and beverages.”
Harpers Restaurant
“We had a great time at Harpers. Service is very good and excellent value for money. I definitely recommend.”
Options Beauty laser & beauty clinic
“I have been getting my eyebrows waxed and tinted in Options. I am so happy with the shape and tint on my brows. The girls are so lovely. They are always so professional and go out of their way to accommodate me with appointments. Always a pleasant experience. I couldn’t recommend Options highly enough.”
Miller & Carter Bromley
“I visited here on Christmas Eve 2022 with my brothers and mother. We were served by a waiter called Ted who was beyond friendly, considerate and catered to us massively. Considering how busy it was being Christmas Eve, Ted made our experience a breeze and was the most accommodating waiter we could have asked for. Would 100% revisit and if you have Ted as a server/waiter you will be the luckiest!”
Memories Coffee House
“Serving the best cake in the area. Lovely bright and clean cafe with a nice play area for the littles. Brilliant staff and reasonably priced!”
Deb's Dog Grooming
“Debbie really cares about the dogs she groom's. Always happy to share her knowledge”
