Unique dining experience in Orpington

“Discovered this restaurant on a friend’s recommendation and it was totally fantastic. Amazing Indian and Indo-Chinese dishes in and around Bromley/ Orpington area. They even gave a complimentary dish for being a first time visitor to the restaurant doing a take-away. The place looks empty but the kitchen was so busy with takeaway orders in these Corona times. Great tasting food as well. Really pleased with the food and have no hesitation recommending this place.”

“This place is ideally located in nugent centre Orpington (St Mary Cray really) and is ideal for a quick stop from your shopping trip Place is not that busy I have been here now at different times and never I have seen it busy The staff are super friendly and if I was to suggest then please order your burgers and share the drinks and fries, we ordered once a large fries and between us two we couldn’t finish it so lesson learnt There is a vegetarian option too and the burgers are really nice Plenty of spaces to sit and enjoy the meal there is place upstairs too I saw a lot of orders for take away as delivery drivers were in almost every minute so a very busy place The taste of the food is typical of a chain restaurant it tastes the same but for me it is the people and atmosphere and here you will find it and hence 5 stars from me Hope you all enjoy like we do here”

Spent time showing me different options, the swatches and how sofas look (in store and on tablet) I nearly bought my choice sofa on the spot but thought it better to be prudent and shop around. “The food quality at Xian continues to draw us back. It was good to see a full restaurant testifying to others' agreement. Service good except when trying to get the bill. Generally the foibles of our group were catered for cheerfully. A good muscadet complemented chicken in three different guises and sweet and sour pork. Duck as a starter. Three course would have been too much for us.”

“Have wanted to try ST since it opened - love the fact the menu changes regularly . Visited with two friends last Friday night , we had a great time. The food is very fresh and tasty , the service was excellent - especially considering how busy it was. Will definitely be coming back - we’re lucky to have such a lovely spot in petts wood.”

“Not been to the Atlas since before Covid shut us down. What a mistake on my behalf. Went there as a party of 8. They sat us in square enabling us to talk to one another. The food was outstanding with the Seafood mezze taking centre stage the prawns were fantastic. The mains also excellent. Cannot fault it, also as they do not sell alcohol you take your own which makes it a very reasonable night out. My advice is go and try it.”

“My partner and 1 went here for the 1st time today. We had chicken shish, salad, rice , lamb kebab, plus calamari . Really nice, well cooked and a very good price too. We were served by a very polite young lady ( cant recall her name , but had a piercing) . Definitely going back there. Might even have a cocktail this time”

The coffees and hot chocolates they had was so delicious. The owner was so welcoming and friendly. The place was so cozy. The decorations were so cute. Highly recommended.”

“Food was very good. Spicing right for the symbols on the menu. Portions were generous and mix of ingredients was up at the premium end - plenty of meat and prawns in the Singapore noodles for instance. Logistics were easy - call in with order, time to collect and it was ready then and well packed. All in all an excellent meal.”

“I went here when it newly opened and it was so lovely. I got a Nutella crepe with strawberries after a bad day and it made me feel so much better. I've also just had some gelato delivered via deliveroo and I'm SO GLAD they have joined delivery services for the second lockdown. My mum is a huge fan of them and we'd much rather pay money to this lovely little independent shop than a chain like creams. I hope they can add some more hot chocolates too, seeing as they have such great ingredients I could see them making hot choc with choc bars and such. Keep it up guys, you're smashing it ♥”

“Friendly, helpful staff and delicious food, equals a good experience. Took a trip here with the family and quite impressed with some of the food on offer. The interior is cozy, and rustic and combined with the staff makes for an inviting and chilled environment. Starting with the bad, the drinks are a little on the small side and don't really match the price well and that's all. As for the food no complaints. My family tried the following starters calamari rings which where really good, fresh by the tastes of it and the batter was nice fluffy and crispy. Homous (my brother described as satisfying which paired well with the bread, which itself was delicious and made the humous even better), falafel (light and moist in the middle) and the lamb with almonds (also pretty nice). As for mains these where all really good, personally for someone like myself the portions could have been just a tad bigger, but as we came during the lunchtime and got these on offer they where worth the price tag. I myself tried the sea bass which was crispy on the outside but light and fluffy on the inside. My brother had the chicken minced kebab which was nice and you could tell it was flame grilled which gave that extra something. As for the parents I think they picked the real winner which was the lamb ribs, despite the slightly small portion was easily the tastiest thing on the table. Good seasoning and cooked just right on the grills these are what I recommend to a first time visitor. Overall a solid experience and worth dropping by.”

“So good wow! I ordered the honey and mustard wings which were amazing must try and chicken burger with crossed fries. Burger was perfect, warm and juicy and the fries with the smacks sauce delicious! Def recommend and definitely ordering again”
