“Came here on a Saturday evening, it was super busy but they had us sat down speedily. The service was attentive, fast, and friendly. I would 100% recommend the calamari, up there with the best I’ve had! The jungle curry is supposedly spicy but it was not spicy at all, and if you’re Bengali, it tastes like a traditional Bengali chicken curry with less spice!”

Most of the time I think Chinese restaurants in Europe generally adapt flavours too much to match our taste, maybe a wrong impression. Not in this case though. “Been getting dead (bad - for those who don't get it) trims? Yeah, that's cause you haven't been coming to Ismail's. Na, all jokes aside, best barbershop in the borough of Kingston . Super friendly and welcoming staff. All the barbers know what they're doing and make sure they understand what kinda trim you want. Clean and calm environment. Prices are also very reasonable, have paid more for less elsewhere. Make sure you come early, as there can be a little wait on busier days, justified for the outcome though. Cannot recommend any more - Cheat on your barber, come to Ismail's!”

“A lovely grand historical venue with amazing picturesque gardens. We attended a shared Xmas party as two couples joined by 3 other companies having their Xmas party. The staff were amazing and attentive, the food was great and the atmosphere and entertainment was great. Everyone had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to share a party and make some new friends. We didn't stay over so can't comment on the rooms. A special mention to Grant Chatfield, events manager who was extremely helpful and accommodating when we were booking and also gave as a lovely welcome on arrival.”

“Nicole and izzie were amazing, so friendly and they gave an outstanding service. Drinks were perfect. Free sport on projectors and tv’s all around the place. There’s the option to play some snooker/pull if you’re up for it. Cheap drinks, student discount, a great mix of music (80s-present) and very friendly service. I would highly, highly recommend to anyone who wants a great night.”

It was quite busy, although rushed off their feet, the servers still made time to make sure you were enjoying yourself/food. Would definitely recommend this spoons!
