Saint Martins
“We have dined in twice recently now, and ordered two takeaways for delivery. We've tried a variety of dishes (me chicken, partner seafood) and have really enjoyed the meals, whether in the restaurant or as takeaways. Friendly service and great food at very reasonable prices. Restaurant is un-licensed so is BYOB. Highly recommended.”
New Surma Tandoori
“Excellent food, good price but if you order the prawn cocktail ask for it to be put in a separate cold bag because it came a bit warm but absolutely gorgeous meal.”
Meekhun Thai Bistro (Kensington)
“Got the shrimp rolls and vegetarian cashew nut plate. Both were fantastic. Iced tea was great too. Lady taking the order was so polite. I wish I had remembered to make the food spicy. It was super mild!”
Punto Italian Pizzeria & Restaurant
“Excellent Italian. Lived in the village for about a year and tried Punto for the first time last night. Excellent food - wonderful service, the only small thing was the live music was a little loud; but that did not spoil what was a fantastic evening. Will be back and would gladly recommend.”
Fragola Cafe and Bar
“my favourite place to meet my best friend. great ice cream and waffles and milkshakes and nice place to watch the world go by.”
Caffettino
“My favourite cafe in Battersea! Great quality food and coffee and the staff are so friendly. All my friends are regular customers and so glad the seating area is open again!”
La Fiaba Del Mediterraneo
“A true hidden gem that deserves more than five stars. Put simply the food was outstanding, the service was outstanding and a lovely ambience. Completely got lost in the atmosphere here and the menu is full of amazing dishes. The price was very reasonable and the recommendations from our server sold us right away. This is a must go to little gem of a place and me and my partner will most definately be returning. If that hasn't sold you.. I have never.. left a restaurant to go to an ATM to give a generous tip. A massive thank you to everyone here. Side note - you must try the butternut squash and passionfruit cake. Divine!”
Three Uncles Brixton
“Amazing food! One of the best dim sums I've ever been to. A small menu, but they do everything to the highest quality. Great staff, well presented, quaint. Would highly recommend”
Hannah Japanese restaurant
“Visited here a couple of years ago but I believe they changed their menu now. I appreciate they still decided to serve us when they were about to close. Excellent service and food. I would definitely recommend.”
L'amour bistro
“Beyond expectations! The food tasted Amazing and it was all so beautifully presented. The staff were lovely and the Cocktails were absolutely delicious. Added bonus, it was happy hour when we arrived!! ☺️ Will definitely be dining here again!”
Côte Bluewater
“What an amazing restaurant, this is top notch! The staff were so friendly and accommodating to my food intolerance!! They got everything so right and the food was incredible!! We will be back for sure! Don't even think about going, just go!!”
Chez Vous
“It's a very welcoming place. The restaurant has a rating of 5 for food hygiene. We were greeted by a lovely lady with beautiful smile. She served us complimentary olives as soon as we sat down to look at the menu. The restaurant is well kept and even the toilet is clean. We opted for the main menu: mixed grill platter and lamb shawarma. These were excellent choices and the portions were quite generous. The mix meats on the mixed grill were all expertly grilled, spiced and so tender. The delicious spicy sauce heightened the taste. The shawarma came with either chips or rice. I opted for the latter one but to my surprise it also came with flat bread to soak up the juices. The lamb was tender and juicy. We enjoyed our meal and capped it with mint tea. The tea was freshly made and we were given another complimentary sweet pudding. What a lovely way to end the day! It's highly recommended and we'll go back there again.”
Bala Baya
“Some of the BEST food I've ever had. And my partner says this is the best hummus he's had in his life (and he loves hummus!) Everything was fantastic, every bite made us close our eyes in bliss. Prawn Baklava was another top favorite but honestly it's hard to choose. Can't wait to come back here.”
Pame Greek
“Best gyro in town! Period. It’s the most authentic Greek place I’ve found in London so far. The food is fresh, of high quality, and plus, the team is the loveliest and kindest! Thanks a lot!”
Princess
“Fantastic pub. Always really welcoming, great beer and a great garden for when the sun is out. We will be back!”
The Seven Stars
“Traditional pub, great food, polite and attentive staff. Good prices given the high quality of the food. When the country appears to be charging higher than ever prices for lower than ever service and quality, this place is a refreshing haven!”
The Shamrocks
“A really friendly pub, nice staff and excellent entertainment.”
Rifle Volunteer
“Amazing night at the rifle fir the jubilee quiz. Lovely friendly pub with a great atmosphere. First time we have been there but felt so welcome. Will be back for the next quiz.”
Roisin Dubh
“Lovely place staff are great two fella raj and Andrew great guys but very shy of going to the bar”
The Grosvenor Arms
“WOW! My partner and I had always avoided the old Grosvenor Arms like the plague. After it's recent refurbishment I can now safely say it is by far the best pub in Earlsfield. The bar is beautiful, the bar staff were very welcoming and friendly (shout out to the manager whose name I forgot!), plenty of seating areas, the stone baked pizzas are fantastic and made by an actual Italian pizza chef and the outdoor area will be a great hit in the warmer months! They've turned this place around big time. Looking forward to many afternoons and evenings in here.”
Moon & Stars Beer Garden
“I love this pub, especially great their 8oz Gourmet sirloin steak;) The foods and prices are balance with values. The staff is very kind and polite:) I recommend them.”
The Oliver Conquest
“Awesome pub, good atmosphere, not too crowded even on game nights. There was a quizz going on at half-time and we had a lovely time. Good selection of gins.”
Royal Sovereign
“Great Hackney pub. Went there for New Year's celebrations and had a fabulous time. Good range of beers and other beverages. Large garden at rear. What's not to like.”
Bank of Friendship
“A great local pub. Thanks to the heaters in its garden, it is possible to sit outside even in winter. There is no kitchen in the place, but great pizzas can be brought from Yard Sales Pizza. If you're around, it's a must-visit place.”
The Crown
“Edit August 2022 - five stars. I have visited the pub 6 times and have found the service and food pretty consistent, from the first day of opening to some of their most busiest times in the evenings and sunny days. They do roast dinners very well, the condiments are as good as the food and I suspect they are freshly made on site - horseradish had enough burn, mint sauce tastes fresh etc. There is a good selection of draught, as well as soft drinks. The luscombe brand is well worth trying as a non-alcoholic drink. Soda water is also available by the pint which is good to see. As a vegetarian option (can't remember if they are vegan), the allotment salad is tasty and available as main or small plate. I have had it twice and the leaves have always been fresh. If you don't like much dressing I'd recommend asking for it on the side, however it is the right amount for me. I did prefer the salad to the veggie haggis pie as I felt the flavours didn't blend as well with the rest of the filling. If you enjoy meat options, I would definitely recommend the chicken pie as a hearty option. A nice salad option would be the sticky beef salad, although I would recommend taking it as a smaller portion than the large main. The steak frites was delicious, very well cooked, a tasty steak and you definitely can taste is a higher quality cut. If it is a Sunday, definitely try out the roast dinners, you won't be disappointed. I have tried two of the desserts, a morello cherry sundae (with popping candy) and the dairy free Belgium waffle dessert. I think that both were equally good. The cocktails are great, I also enjoy the hot drinks too. If you are looking to visit in busier times, I would definitely recommend booking. The managers and staff are friendly and hardworking, this pub is definitely a welcome treat for the local area. I'd say, to get this review to 5 stars, it will just come with time as we know the hospitality industry in under pressure and novice staff are undergoing training, which can be more complex than it looks.”
Prince George
“Cosy and lovely pub with great deco. The beer selection was second to none. I enjoyed the atmosphere while eating a Halloumi burger. It felt safe Covid-wise: not too crowded, table service, and friendly / attentive stuff. All in all, it floats my boat.”
The Ship
“Lovely friendly pub. Beautiful decor. I found myself at a loose end and decided to pop in while I was waiting around for my car to be fixed. Glenda and Caroline took me in and looked after me and even provided me with a charger for my phone. I ended up being there long enough to have a gallion burger for dinner which was really lovely. I'm very glad I popped in and will definitely be back. Back garden was gorgeous too”
The Old Ship Inn Public House
“Nice decor, nice owner, fantastic food. 10/10 will visit again”
Everyman Reigate
“I always have the best time when I visit the Everyman in Reigate. I visited with my friends last week and it was a fantastic experience. A great movie with great food. The staff are always kind and give the best customer experience I’ve ever received at a cinema! I can’t wait to go back in a few weeks!”
Everyman Muswell Hill
“Such a wonderful cinema. The whole place is beautiful Art Deco style. Very comfortable seats and sofas with plenty of leg room and blankets if you feel cold. Staff welcoming. Brilliant experience every time.”
