When the customer service is this consistently good (and has been since they first opened), I'm usually suspicious of the product and what they might be masking but this place genuinely has it all in spades. “We were heading down south from London and just wanted a quick pub lunch, so we popped by the Spring Tavern. It was excellent! Lovely pub, fantastic food and absolutely spectacular service - particularly from Maria! We will definitely be planning our routes through Surrey to take us back to Spring Tavern next time we're heading down south. Highly recommended for anything from a romantic countryside lunch to a family outing!”

“Had a Sunday roast today for the first time at the Queen Adelaide and I must say it was one of the nicest roast we have had! Followed it with the rhubarb tart ) actually called something else!) and that too was beautiful! Massive compliments to the chefs! “Our First Visit here. Came here as it was the only place with availability for the 'Eat out to help out'. Further then I normally travel, but worth the time. You are greeted by a very friendly gentleman, who took my car reg for the parking. He showed us to our table and explained how it all works (covid 19 rules). Our drinks order was taken quickly and enough time was given for us to choose our meals. When they came the look great. See photos. The food was really good, if I was to be critical, they toast the children's burger bun. This makes it too hard for children the really bite into. My mixed grill was very nice, again if I would to be critical, I asked for a medium steak, I felt it was more medium rare. This is just me, this may be how some people do 'medium' take a look at the photo below and see for your self. Otherwise the chicken was very moist the eggs runny and the sausages juicy. A lovely meal with very friendly staff. Social distancing measures in place and clean. Will be back in the future.”
