“The best Indian food around! Tons of options on the menu, very rich in flavour, for reasonable prices. Staff is very friendly, best if you check with them about a 'spicy' level of each dish (some meals are extremely hot). Option to bring your own drinks to the restaurant is a big plus!”

“Probably the best Indian food I’ve had, definitely nothing around Chingford as good. Awesome flavours in all dishes and always something free on the house on top of our order. Its also cheap! Genuinely awesome food. My wife doesn’t like flavours in food and hates spicy, but when she tried this food she was amazed! Loves Chicken Biryani and Tarka Dall. She tries all my foods(but she cries is spicy for her) Mr Naseeb as well a lovely guy!”

“Had a great experience at Apna Des. It was late night and they were about to close but they were kind enough to serve as as their last customers for the day. Ordered Chicken Karahi and chicken biryani and got the suggestion for Garlic naan which was really amazing. Both of the main courses were lovely, loved the quantity too. Staff was really helpful specially Annie, kudos to her. Overall: 9/10 Definitely going back very soon”

“Fabulous diner last night. Beautifully decorated restaurant, very clean, nice atmosphere. Very friendly and attentive staff, perfect service. (From arrival to getting our starters served was only 15 min) Menue was varied, with meat and plant based options. Food was outstanding, very tasty and beautifully presented. Highly recommend Passorn. Will definitely pop in again when in this neck of woods. Thank you for letting us have a perfect dinner.☺️”

“Absolutely blown away by this place. From the moment of booking with friendly accommodating service to the COVID-safe experience and amazing food and selection of wines and cocktails. We went for the mixed olives, soft-shell crab tempura, burger and chunky fries and the Sunday roast (sirloin beef) - all cooked to perfection. The stick toffee pudding was to die for. Highly highly recommended.”

“Classic English cafe. The food and service are great. You might share a table with strangers. Really strong English breakfasts and they have some Mediterranean options too. Plus prices are excellent for London. There is usually a line at busy times like Sunday mornings you will definitely need to wait but they have a lot of tables so the wait isn't too bad.”

Not many people think about it, but it’s the basis of good pizza. This dough was wonderful. The staff are really friendly and helpful. “I've ordered twice and the food has come very fast and hot. The food is authentic enough to be amazing but not overpowering. I love their katsu curry very much and will always order that from now on. It's lovely to have a halal good sushi restaurant close to me. I just wish they made bubble tea as well but that's more my preference rather than the restaurant. I would highly recommend to everyone. I also recommend ordering directly from their website as they always have some sort of discount.”

“Mix grill was one of the best, good value, can be starter for 2 to start with. Chicken Birayani was superb and I also order chicken curry with bone , I would prefere bit more masaladar with green chilli spiced, like Desi Falvor and, it's says ghee may be more brown butter, Garam Desi Flavour Garam Masla and brunt ghee ! Garlic Naan was superb. Papadam and all relish, dips were fantastic, eveything Desi style, my son love the raita, I love that red spicy sauce and tamarind chutney. What you need with chillied Cobra beer and all of this. See you guys again with all of my friends and family. Kudos to Chef and his team.”
