“Went to the Growler stop for first time last night. Great, helpful and pleasant staff. Lovely welcoming atmosphere. Very extensive beer menu that the staff will help you with. We sampled quite a few across the range, pale ales, ipa’s, bitters and stouts and they were all lovely. We will be returning and next time our wives said they’ll come with us and sample their gins :-)”

The iconic bridge which is at least 500 years old really adds to the character of Farningham. This pub is amazing for families and we often take our kids who enjoy being outdoors. “This Summer my wife and I had the pleasure of two short stays at the Black Horse Cottage B & B in Bean, Kent. The experience was very good indeed. The facilities are all very good, extremely clean and well kept by Kim. She also cooks the breakfasts, which are prepared to your liking. You can choose the full English or something less if you wish. It was very good value for the money and we hope to return. I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment to anybody.”
