Flamenco Academy
“If you want to learn the perfect art of flamenco then Ollie is the perfect teacher. He's a superb dancer and exceptionally skilled in his craft. He has a true passion for flamenco and this is reflected in class. As a teacher he’s incredibly inspiring and encouraging and I love his attention to detail (he hears and sees everything!) Ollie cares about teaching correct technique, posture, rhythm and he most definitely has the ability to get the best from his students. His classes are challenging and great fun. You’ll be fully immersed in flamenco, with lovely people, and come away feeling energised and looking forward to the next class! Absolutely recommend The Flamenco Academy.”
Reynolds Performing Arts
“I am at Reynolds at the moment and I am loving every minute of it. Everyone is so kind and have all improved so much, in such little time.”
Samaia Georgian Restaurant
“Incredible presentation and even more incredible flavour. The shashlik is to die for...Amazing service too! The very best of Georgian cuisine in London--highly recommended!”
Latin House
“After arriving in London this week, I felt like I needed something that tasted like home. Latin house didn't disappoint. The food was incredible, and the portions more than generous. I got the parrillada, which had more meat than I've had in a while. It had some nice chimichurri on it. Just perfect.”
VP Bhangra
“After one term with Bittu who teaches the beginners class I have learnt so much. He is patient, takes time explaining the steps and really focuses on how to get the basics right. He makes the class engaging and fun especially with his dad jokes! I attend alone and the people I have met are so lovely. There are many of us and we all get individual feedback which is very encouraging. I had zero experience coming in to the class and I would reccomend literally everyone to go the classes and get your bhangra on!”
Thai O'CHA Restaurant
“I found this amazing Thai restaurant on Google during my short stay in London. My go-to is green curry with chicken, and most places just can’t seem to get it right. Thai O’CHA hit the mark. They made it Thai hot, just the way I like it, and I was more than satisfied. The owner personally chatted with me and treated me with hospitality I have never experienced before. I even received some Papad and Thai desert on the house! As someone out at dinner on my own, I felt like I was at home. Thank you, Sultana, for such a lovely welcome.”
Linbury Theatre
“I very much enjoyed my first visit at Linbury Theatre! The performance was exceptional and both seating and interiors very nice. I would recommend visit it!”
Riverhouse Barn
“A lovely venue anyway; furthermore, am impressed with the quality of the food there.”
Tango Light
“Tango Light Temple is one of my favourite milongas, and, I would even put it as my 'tango home'! The venue has good vibes, excellent ambience and atmosphere, with a high dome that creates wonderful acoustics that complement the fantastic sound system. The organisers are always welcoming and always looking to improve. There are always a good mix of dancers, some regulars as well as visitors from outside London and abroad. There's always a buzz around the room. The seating arrangement is very good for the Mirada and cabaceo. There's a mini bar that serves drinks and delicious empanadas. All the above elements creates the feeling that you are in a Buenos Aires milonga.”
Harlow Playhouse
“Most recently saw Ukrainian State Opera here. It's a nice venue, staff are friendly and helpful. Good view from any seat in my experience, but best suited to performances where you sit and listen. Don't expect to get up and boogie - it's not that sort of venue. They have a second, much smaller performance area too, which is nice and intimate. Easy parking nearby in the multi-storey.”
Makai
“Rami, Ahmad, and Ana were amazing hosts for this quaint birthday celebration. Portion sizes and quality of food were amazing! YOU NEED TO TRY THE PURPLE DREAMS COCKTAIL & the saffron cake! 11/10”
Kibele Restaurant
“Kibele Restaurant is not just a place to enjoy delicious Turkish food, but also an immersive and entertaining experience. The restaurant features live bands, a cabaret show, and an in-house DJ to keep the party going all night long. One of the standout dishes at Kibele Restaurant is their traditional lamb kebabs. These succulent skewers are cooked to perfection over an open flame and served with a side of rice and vegetables. Another must-try dish is the hummus, a creamy blend of chickpeas and spices served with warm pita bread. But the fun doesn't stop with just the food at Kibele Restaurant. The live bands and cabaret show add an extra level of excitement to the evening. The in-house DJ keeps the party going with a mix of popular hits and traditional Turkish music. And with secret surprises throughout the night, you never know what kind of excitement might be in store. If you're looking for a unique and memorable dining experience, Kibele Restaurant is the place to go. With delicious food, live entertainment, and a fun atmosphere, it's the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or just enjoy a night out with friends and family. So if you're in the Great Portland Street area, be sure to check out Kibele Restaurant for an unforgettable night of fun and delicious Turkish food.”
Greek Cook & Grill
“This restaurant had the best food; it was delicious and the service was fast. We were treated with a better attitude and were also asked whether we enjoy the food and if there are any problems being faced, they can help us and solve it in a positive manner and attitude.”
Watford Palace Theatre
“A nice local theatre. Saw The Merchant of Venice 1936 bringing Shakespeare's play to the troubled streets of the east end facing off Oswald Moseley. An excellent cast including Tracey Ann Oberman.”
Jacksons Lane Arts Centre
“Great studios and wonderful staff. We went on a Sunday, and we wanted to get some food and were told by reception their policy is no outside food, spoke the cafe and they said as there was a lot of us and the chef had just knocked off they don't mind. Also the reception were great just told us no as it was policy not because they were being awkward”
Sunny Beach Bulgarian Restaurant
“I took an international group of friends to try Bulgarian food for the first time. They all absolutely loved it! We ordered many things and it was all delicious! Food is excellent, atmosphere is very Bulgarian (which was great for the overall experience) and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend!”
