“Absolutely fantastic service given by the guys at Sandy Lane/MD Racing. I got a rear puncture on my motorbike at 1730 on Walton Bridge & desperately phoned around however everywhere, including Sandy Lane, had shut at 1700. No way of getting home. By chance I found a mobile number for MD Racing & they offered to stay late so I could at least get the bike to them for it to be fixed the next day. When I arrived I was greeted with smiles & welcomes & they wheeled the bike straight in for secure storage over night. Incredibly they offered to repair the punctures (turns out there was two) there & then. I was given tea/coffee whilst I waited although there was barely time - 20 mins for the wheel to come off, repair 2 punctures & get me back on the road. One of the gentlemen even stopped to check everything was okay when he saw me pulled over on the side of the road making a phone call before heading home. Exceptional service, truly above & beyond. Very grateful for such a great experience for what could have been a really arduous evening. Thank you.”

“I was really impressed with the garage and staff at this garage. Booked my Fiesta in for an MOT last month and was a quick turn around. My MOT failed at the 1st attempt (as it was an old 2nd hand car I recently bought) but the staff explained in detail what parts were faulty and physically showed me in person and with videos the extent of the faults. I was given clear quotes regarding the safety critcal parts that needed replacing and many options to choose in regards to fixing any advisories (if I chose to) that could be a problem in the near future. Even with the MOT failure the car was fixed and ready to collect the day after I dropped it of and the price was very good so I was really happy. The staff and the manager were really friendly and professional and I will definitely return here for any future mechanical issues. I have recommended this garage to 3 of my friends who all had a good experience aswell. I highly recommend this garage.”

“Excellent mechanic. Was recommended to Max and brang my car in a couple of weeks ago to have it diagnosed. Identified issue with anti roll bar bushes & links. Despite having a busy schedule, the car was booked in next day and repaired within 2 hours. Very honest and well priced. I will be coming back to Max's Garage for any future works/servicing. “I can highly recommend this garage. Recently they actually rang me to say they had inadvertently overcharged me for my service and they paid me back immediately via a bank transfer. And when my car broke down at 4pm, the day before we were due to go on holiday, they did everything they could to diagnose the fault and repair it in time. And in the end the car was ready for collection by 5.30pm the same day! So impressed and so relieved and grateful we could go on holiday as planned.”

“Rang them at just before 9 to ask for help with my flat tyre, ie replace if can’t be fixed and was back home around 10. I had to have a new tyre but am very happy with price paid for nearly new. “Great service. Booked online on their site, got a call the day before to confirm my booking. Left the key with one of the guys who worked there and the MOT was done within an hour of dropping the car off. They offered to do a service on it straight after since that was due too. Had the car back within 3 hours. Lovely, friendly people who did a good job.”

“I took my car in for a puncture repair, as the nearside rear tyre kept on going down and wouldn't hold air for more than a day at the most. The person I spoke to on the phone was polite and helpful, and I was told that I could bring my car in straightaway. I subsequently took the car down to the garage, where they removed a rather long screw from the tyre that I was told had gone in diagonally. I was half expecting them to tell me that it couldn't be repaired and that I'd need a replacement tyre but as it turned out they were able to repair the tyre and only charged me £20 for the job. Based on my own experience I would thoroughly recommend this garage.”
