Had to come here after Goddard Wanstead had been messing my kitten around from 3 months old, I still couldn't get an appointment when he was 10 months old (after repeated calls, cancellations and mistakes on their end). “I discovered Suzi (@hair.by.suzi) on Instagram after a recommendation from a friend and had to book in for a colour because her work looked amazing and she had tons of experience with Asian hair too! She definitely did not disappoint and I have had so many compliments on my hair since I had it done. Historically I have found hairdressers in the UK have had trouble dealing with my hair in terms of both cut and colour because it's not 'stereotypical' Asian hair (i.e. dead straight and jet black) and instead is frizzy, thick, dark and between a curl and a wave. Suzi had no issue though and gave great advice on what was realistic and how to achieve the colour I wanted. The salon was itself was lovely and I had a good time chatting with Suzi while she was doing my hair. She was very friendly and welcoming and I can't wait till I'm next in the UK to book my next appointment! (Yes, I'm booking in to have my hair done by Suzi even though I live 6,000 miles away in Hong Kong - she's THAT good!)”
