“First of all, it was my first time visiting Battersea Power Station it has all the shops you could want and more. Let's talk Le Bab situated on the first floor we stopped by for a quick meeting and bit to eat lunch time became busy with families and couples, our lovely server Comfort was attentive and looked after us the food came fast and was very filling and tasted.”

“This is hands down the best Kurdish / Kebab place on Green Lanes. Don’t be fooled by the glitzy mega kebab restaurants down the Main Street. This is the only place worth visiting on Green Lanes. They make their own tandoori bread, and once seated you are greeted with pickles and lovely warm soup. The kebabs are expertly seasoned and served without fuss - but with tons of intense charcoal grilled flavour.”

“Nice and caring staff. Good food at a good price. What more could you ask for?? Pre-booked for a group of about 20 people got a set menu but they were able to cater for a vegan and one person with gluten intolerance. Would certainly go back and recommend. Check it out!”

“I love Umut 2000. I love the food. I love the staff. It seems if you purchase approximately 300 chicken Shish wraps across a 5-year period then you are rewarded with a framed picture on the wall. I’m not sure what they do with the humus but it’s topped with a mad butter sauce of deliciousness. I feel like someone said it was like a burnt butter and pomegranate molasses mix or something like that but I might have made that up completely. Either way I feel it sort of describes well. Not sure if it only come with the meat platter or every meal. The ribs in the meat platter are juicy lil boi’s. Yes pleeeeeasee me likey. If you are taking away then get a chicken Shish wrap. And don’t even think about not getting size large. Chicken, yes. Onion salad, yes. Soft bread, yes. Tip tip: order an additional side salad for extra fresh health gains.”

“Fantastic Turkish Pizza/Pide/Lahmacun place, in fact the only specialist place of its kind in Edmonton Green area. Other than standard Lahmacun, this place specialises in at least 20 different varieties!! The staff are courteous and accomodating. As soon as you enter the shop, you see the giant stone oven and staff fervently making and baking the hand crafted Lahmacun in a machine like manner. We tried the lamb on one, and chicken, spinach and cheese on the other. It had the signature delicious Lahmacun flavour along with the lovely toppings and it was so moreish. A side salad was given with each Lahmacun. If you fancy something Turkish that specialises in Lahmacun/Pide, you can't go wrong with this place. Heartily recommended. Try it!”

“We have been coming to this restaurant regularly for the last 8 years and is a lovely place to go every time we are in London. The food is amazing and the staff is very friendly, especially the boss. The place is well decorated and the service overall is great and not expensive. We love their rice pudding.”

“Have been eating from here since they opened nearly 7 years ago, maybe more.. we love managal BBQ Turkish food and have tried most places in and around London, and always feel disappointed as none of them.close to the quality and value for money!... truly the best for quality and service, not the best of locations but you can park in the Liddle car park just behind, make sure you register or pay for parking in store... highly recommended.”

The restaurant is clean very spacious and has beautiful decor . The prices are extremely competitive to other Turkish restaurants we have been too in Hornchurch. We live in Emerson park and this restaurant is very convenient to walk to. It surly is making an impact in Hornchurch as the restaurant was busy today . It is child friendly and there are disabled access and a disabled toilet . We sat outside and it was very hot sunshine but the canopies made good shade and comfortable seating. In fact we have booked again with Sybil today for the bank holiday weekend to go back as it is my wife’s birthday . We highly recommend this super restaurant. Thank you Sybil and team Ian & sharon”
