“I loved the atmosphere. Hunters style, comfy seats. Woow the food is awesome. We had Steak and cheese platter, tried various deserts. Outstanding is the word. I would recommend and rate it 11/10. The bartender served cocktails not only from the menue and no request is too much. Thank you for everything. I would love to come regularly”

“Came here for early dinner and drinks with my partner before we went out for the evening. Was quiet as it was a weekday, so we were sat quickly on a table near the kitchen. Very cosy booth, loved the Christmas decorations! A lovely lady called Jess took our order, I had the salmon and my partner had the pork, and we shared some sides. They were out of the onion rings, but the lovely chefs made us homemade ones instead!! Such a nice touch. The food was lovely and we had some cocktails once we were finished. Absolutely can’t fault the service, everyone was so welcoming and attentive! Will definitely be back, hopefully to try the festive menu which looks delicious.”

“Wendy and Keith were fantastic hosts tonight. My friend Simon was playing a gig and they couldn't have been friendlier. It's great to go into a pub and feel welcomed immediately. The locals were very friendly too and the pub had a great atmosphere. Highly recommend this pub, especially for families as they were great with kids too. “Lovely pub over two levels with a small beer garden out the back from the upper level and to the side of the lower level. The usual seating options available and everything was clean and tidy. The staff were lovely as was the breakfast. Afterwards, the Guinness was also proven to be excellent. Lots of interesting tree men throughout the pub - not sure why”

“The takeaway is conveniently situated along a high street with many bus connections, making it convenient to collect food (especially during busier days when delivery may take longer than usual). Having ordered from them on many occasions, I have found the food to be good.”
