Panas Gurkha Restaurant
● Closed“If you are looking for an authentic Nepalese food, look no further. Panas Gurkha is a family-run restaurant in Lewisham that is also heavily involved in a charity work. We especially liked their traditional dishes like Thimi vegetables and masu farci (house special lamb) and the Ghurka beer of course!”

Brorritos
● Closed“Had the pleasure of stumbling upon this place with a buddy! Now I’ve lived in California for a few years and I sorely miss good Mexican food - which is something London sadly doesn’t have many good options to offer. This place is such a treat! When you walk in, you know you’re going to have something good happen. It has a hipster, hole-in-the-wall restaurant feel to it, and they being it with good food! It hope they just get the flavours better and better with time. Will defo be visiting more often. My recommendation - chicken/beef tacos with the loaded fries - ask them to add a touch more sauce. Churros with hazelnut chocolate - you can’t go wrong.”

Spice of India
● ClosedFront Lane, Upminster RM14 1XJ, United Kingdom“I love love love this place, hands down my favourite Indian and it must be everyone else's too as it's always rammed in there so 100% book a table.if you want to give it a try. The service is brilliant, the staff are friendly, welcoming and effecient, and they remember you between visits which i really like. The food here is amazing and one way another I've ordered all their sides and a lot of their mains, I normally opt for lamb anything and its divine. I've never ordered wine here as they have a good variety of beer on tap and they're always super quick with drinks. We order popodoms to start and the sauces are well presented and generous and I love the hot lemon flannel at the end. Highly recommend this place!!”

Brindhavan
● Closed“Best food quality and generous portions served. We are a table of 4 celebrating a get-together event. An Indian food lover should try their Kerala Chicken Curry. They cook it really generously. Thank you Brindhavan. Thank you to all the staff. Well spent money and I would definitely recommend this Indian restaurant to everybody in the Slough.”

Dishoom Shoreditch
● Closed“Dinner was amazing! We got here around 9pm on a Tuesday night and the wait was over an hour. A little surprised by that but the time went by pretty quick. They brought out some lemonade while we were waiting which was nice. Food itself was great and the atmosphere is amazing as well.”

Curry Cartel
● Closed“Had this yesterday night. My new favourite curry in the area by a long shot, best was Anglo Spice before... Went for the Chicken Korma, massive pieces of chicken, great portion size, tasty sauce. Mint sauce colour was a vibe. If I had to be really picky, I'd say Onion Bahjii was slightly too salty, and the cardamom in the Pilau could be toned down slightly, as was a little overpowering. Having said this, would 100 percent order again. Good job Curry Cartel!”

Mint Fusion
● Closed“Much more tasty than other Indian takeaways - manages to be hot, fragrant and spicy, but not just bluntly overpowered with garlic and chili peppers. These guys appear to really consider the taste of their dishes. Delivered five minutes early. Good sized portions. Very nice delivery person. Our new regular.”

Rosa's Thai Wimbledon
● Closed“I was very excited about the restaurant opening, so i visited at lunch time on the opening day! I thought i was going to be the first customer, but surprisingly, there were quite a few customers already. All the staff were very nice and friendly. I expected some delays and chaos (as it's first day), but they all seemed to fully understand their menus and how things are working at the restaurant. As a Thai food lover, I found the food amazing. I've ordered Som Tam set menu and green curry. Great taste and flavour, and good quality ingredients. I will definitely go back to this place again, very soon, and with my young kids next time.”

Osteria Bar and Restaurant
● Closed1 The Street, Chipperfield, Kings Langley WD4 9BH, United Kingdom“Just want to say a HUGE thank you to Dennis, Guess and their team for hosting our little boy’s Christening celebration on Sunday. We use this restaurant a lot and have never had a bad meal. You won’t find better service anywhere! We are so fortunate to have this place on our doorstep. They can not do enough for you…. We had the entire back room for our 50 guests and they allowed us to move tables and they set everything up for us how we wanted it. The staff serving were exceptional - from the moment we walked in, the welcome Prosecco was prepared in glasses and olives and hummus on tables. The food for everyone was hot, delicious and decent sized portions. They did an excellent job serving that many people in one go. All of our guests were so complimentary of the restaurant. It was a fantastic choice with a great atmosphere and we are so pleased we had it there. Really recommend this place for any mass occasions. Many thanks again!”

PerBacco!
● Closed“We had a delicious meal with amazing service! The lovely chef and owner Stefano came out to greet me when I arrived and when I asked about the vegan options (there was only one on the menu, which I ended up having anyway and was amazing!), he said he could also make other dishes using dry pasta instead of his homemade pasta, as well as a risotto dish. We were also given some bruschetta to start with on the house, which was a lovely gesture. Stefano also came out at the end of the meal to ask how the food was, which was a really nice touch. It was the first time I’ve experienced such a friendly chef/restaurant owner in London! I’ll definitely be returning soon!”

Notto Pasta Bar
● Closed“What a place! Heard great things before visiting and I can confirm it’s fantastic. Staff were friendly and knowledgable about the whole menu. Nicholas the GM was a great host and very tentative. You get a great service, food and the price is very reasonable. I had a non alcoholic mojito and it was the best one I have ever had. Will be going back!”

Caractère
● Closed“When you arrive at the extremely aptly named restaurant ‘CARACTÈRE’, the sense of the character of this place begins before you even walk through the door. Closed shut and almost a little unwelcoming looking - this creates an element of mystery. After you walk through the door you are greeted by the extremely attentive and friendly staff who will show you to the table and walk you through the very creative menu. We opted for the 3 course A La Carte which is reasonably priced at £78, especially given the location and quality. The waiters asked if we wanted an apéritif and swiftly delivered it with ‘pleasure’. Before ensuring we enjoyed a very hospitable evening with high quality and delicious dishes all round. I throughly enjoyed the experience and would just like to say two words to the owner if they are reading this. Thank you.”

El Rancho De Lalo
● Closed“Followed the high rating to this place for my first meal in London. I arrived at midday to a nearly empty restaurant but it wasn’t long before people started packing it in. My Columbian friend back home recommended my menu choices and I wasn’t disappointed. A highlight was the fried banana and beans. The dessert was surprisingly nice too! I had: 1x FRIJOLES CON CHICHARRÓN 2x LULO 1x AREQUIPE CON QUESO Highly recommended :)”

Beirut Garden
● Closed“In one word, Exceptional. Started off with lebanese coffee. Our order hammus / hummus beiruty, muhammara, kebab halabi, and sujuk shawarma. Each and everything was as authentic as it gets. Very creamy hammus with the tanginess of the Beirut version. Muhammara is to die for. I have been having lebanese food for more than 3 decades and this is my first time having sujuk shawarma and it was so so flavorful and good. Kebab halabi was also nicely done with a good portion of rice, pickled cabbage and onion with sumac. Ended with a variety of baclava on the house. Each one was good, not to sweet. Very good experience. We were served by Mr. Ali, very pleasant and friendly customer service. May Allah give them the success they truly deserve. Oh yeah everything is halal as confirmed by the staff on enquiry. A memorable meal to end our short trip to London.”
