Tikka Nation
● Closed“Wife and I went shopping in Watford and were looking for a quick lunch before we headed home. Stumbled upon the Tikka Nation stall in the Atria centre. Smelt really nice and the menu had a surprisingly good range of offerings. I chose a Dhaba chicken wrap with a tortilla and the wife went for a paneer tikka wrap with a naan and the masala fries. The person who served us clearly cared a lot about the quality of the food explaining carefully to the staff member that we had asked for if we could choose our fillings. The food was really high quality and throughout we felt as though we were customers who mattered even though it was quite busy. Massively recommended and fills a niche that is missing in the market. I wish them massive success and will be returning when I can. Hopefully the business can expand even more!”

We phoned but couldn't get through. Shortly afterwards they phoned back. Placed order for collection. Adequate waiting area for collection. Staff were welcoming and attentive. Got to click the Fried Fish before indulging in and forgetting to take a picture for rest of the dishes. ***UPDATED ***** This time, we had the Chicken Tikka with Chips and Salad and it was worth it. Quality food every time. We also tried the Stuffed Aloo Paratha, Butter Naan, Tadka Dal and Butter Chicken, both were tasty and authentic. The Kadhai Chicken, newly introduced to the menu, is heavenly. *****UPDATED****** We got the Chicken Donner today and it was worth drooling for. Would highly recommend.”

Happy Palace
● Open“Exacty as it should be for a local takeaway. Good honest food in good quantities at good prices. I was only in Watford a few days and sorry I didn't get to go back a second time. Fast service too. I had vegetable curry and egg fried rice and sure it's not the best cooking in the world but equally it's as good as it needs to be. Nothing wrong with it.”

Spice 85
● Open“I live in the area and I've walked passed this place multiple times and have been curious to come and try it, which i finally did on Sunday night with my mate. As soon as we came in at 7pm ish, about a third of the restaurant was full and we were given our seats. The interior was very nice and classy, and the place had a high quality look. We sat down, was given poppadoms with some great sauces, it tasted insane. I got the lamp chops for starters, were amazing, and then Chicken Relaza for main, and the best part is that in between courses, you don't get hungry, because you have the poppadoms. And the food seriously tastes ridiculously good. Anyway, I left and started walking home with my mate, it was really cold, and after about 10 minutes, i realised i left my phone, so we had to walk all the way back, to find one of the waiter Kush, wearing a jacket and telling us he had just ran trying to find us to give me my phone, which was obviously really nice of him. Anyway I got my phone back, spoke to Kush for a bit with my mate, and then he offered to drive us home, which was amazingly kind of him, on top of how cold it was. Anyway, probably the best restaurant experiences i've had.”
