“Attended based on a local recommendation. I was not disappointed. Fantastic service by Sam. The barber is under new management from brothers who had previously been at Ted's Grooming Salon. Sam was highly personable and spent a generous amount of time on me. For £28, this included a cut, shave, hot towel, wax was included, ear flaming and a massage. I was very pleased with both the treatments and service. Definitely a city-level experience for a very reasonable price. I'll certainly be back and will be bringing others. Thanks once again Sam!”

“We been to team Xmas dinner and teams hospitality is 5 star .... They have arranged tables before we come and every item servered is fresh, hot and testaty. It is not possible to appricate whole group, but all our group of 23 members enjoyed the food and hospitality. We strongly recomand to our friends.”

“We wanted a Mereway Kitchen and Utility room, I also was keen to have a loft extension done. I found Anderson Sinclair online and after asking for references I was quickly confident that they would do a good job for me. We spent 40k on the kitchen and it's a beauty! We are now planning the upstairs bedrooms and the loft extension with them. They did what they said, we were impressed by their honesty and integrity as people. It wasn't always easy but they managed to pull it off, and all during lockdown. The only issues that came up were with supply and these were outside their control. Good communicators. Overall a very good experience. Highly recommend....”

“I cannot recommend this salon highly enough. Sue and Louise are extremely professional and knowledgeable in everything they do. The salon is pristine and relaxing. But best of all is the quality of the treatments. I have had both body and facial treatments here and the results are amazing. I have 50 something skin, and the improvement in shape, tone and texture is so good that I think I have become slightly addicted. After a few initial courses, I am now onto regular maintenance treatments that just help to keep everything in check. Always look forward to my treatment here and always feel glowing afterwards.”

“The best place for toasted sandwiches with dietary requirements! They offered a meal deal with a drink which in my case was a Peach nectar and everything was delicious! I would definitely recommend to anyone and would go back again! P.S. The added bonus is the owner of the cafe produces her own aromatic coffee beans which are making the best creamy espresso I've seen in this country!”

“Great Turkish style men's barber shop. Friendly staff, you get the full service there with massage and hot towel. They serve drinks while you wait, including beer, coffee and soft drinks. Really pleasant place. Can be crowded at weekends so be prepared to wait, less so during the week. Recommended!”

“Wonderful time here. Food was on point , bought a combo meal which was 18 quid. Which is two main courses. And 2 sides. The oxtail was amazing and tender. And stew its in was well put together. The jerk chicken was great aswell although I wasn't keen on the sauce. Guiness punch was lovely too.staff were great and ill definable be back”

“First visit and wasn't disappointed. Nice place to have a cuppa and something to eat in a beautiful forest setting. Went with a group of motorcyclists from Norfolk and really enjoyed looking at the variety of bikes that were there. Obviously a popular meeting place. Tea and bacon roll were good and the service friendly.”

“I just had dinner here and I am very impressed. The food was delicious, everything was just perfect. I have absolutely nothing to say that could be better. I had 3 different starters as main main meal and that's quite a lot food. My friend had shish kebab which I tried and the meat just melted in my mouth. Very tender! In addition,they bring big plate with variety of salads, olives, yoghurt and dill dip and some tomato dip with home made pita bread to every table. The restaurant itself looked also very stylish. Seems they pay attention to every detail, including the business cards which were very stylish too. The restaurant was full with people who seemed to be regulars there, therefore,it speaks about the quality of the food. I live in central London and that's long way to go there for dinner, however, I would gladly return soon.”

“The Carpenters Arms is a great pub that dates back to the old style beer houses. There's no other pub in Loughton that possesses that kind of style. It has more than ample outdoor seating for the present times during government regulations but to be inside the Carpenters Arms is something to look forward to. It has such a great character inside that most pubs do not possess. Well worth a visit.”
