“Popped in for a quick lunch on a freezing Friday. Only one member of staff behind the bar and ferrying food, but she did a brilliant job and was extremely friendly. Food was surprisingly good and while not 'cheap', I think it was worth it. Not busy for a Friday lunch, which is a little worrying. I hope to visit again soon.”

“We booked the Coach & Horses for a wake after my mum's funeral. The staff were very friendly, well organised and helpful and served drinks on our arrival really efficently. The buffet for 40 people was delicious and plentiful. We could not have asked for a better experience to make a difficult day memorable. Thanks to the whole team.”

This place was dog friendly, which was a plus and where very accommodating. I had a beef roast which was delicious. “It was a beautiful day, so we stopped here after cycling for a short break and coffee. The surrounding area is peaceful. A lot of outdoor seating and no step access - good wheelchairs and buggy’s. If you sitting on the outer section, you have river views too. WCs are clean and spacious. Table service possible via the QR code on the table. We didn’t eat but the food that came out to other tables looked lovely. Will be back to eat and revisit. Close enough to the hassle and bustle of the main thoroughfare.”

“Lovely hotel. 2 minutes to the next Subway station. Yes, It’s kind of loud in the middle of the night, but show me one quiet city. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast was good! “A good place to rest, if you are travelling on public transportation; both bus and train stops are very close. Rooms are charmingly old, there is a good atmosphere of old travelling culture, staying upstairs of a public house. Room, toilets and showers are well equipped, clean and functioning. Personnel is helpful and lager is near. Food is available as well at the Thai restaurant in same premises. And a special thank goes to Helen, who has the spirit of making her job with a heart, skill and commitment.”

“I went there to have a beer on my own and meet up with a long lost friend. My experience was really good! I could choose from a fine selection of beer, and I was served by a really nice member of staff. When I asked if they by any chance could show German football, they spent time figuring out for me. They were not succesful, but I was happy anyways. The vibe I got at the place was really great. It seemed good looking, and the place of the bar wasn't far from the bigger streets, but it still gave you a sence of being hidden away a bit, which I enjoy more than going to any other major bar! All in all great experience!”

“Awesome place for food, came out extremely fresh and was beyond delicious. Our waitress was outstanding, she cares about the food being brought out, she had noticed there might not have been a dressing added to one of our dishes so she went out of her way to get more on the side just in case. One tiny thing I had wished for was salt and pepper on the table.”

“Amazing place with great staff and service. Been coming here every week for a year and have always been satisfied. It's warm and cozy inside at winter and have big backyards for summer dinners with view to clean and fresh water. Menu here is big with a reasonable prices. we do not drink alcohol, but there is a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to order. Only one thing you need to be aware that at evening/night after dusk you may see some animals walking around, they are not harmful, but may scare someone. recommend to visit!”
