Rosa's Thai Wimbledon
● Open“I was very excited about the restaurant opening, so i visited at lunch time on the opening day! I thought i was going to be the first customer, but surprisingly, there were quite a few customers already. All the staff were very nice and friendly. I expected some delays and chaos (as it's first day), but they all seemed to fully understand their menus and how things are working at the restaurant. As a Thai food lover, I found the food amazing. I've ordered Som Tam set menu and green curry. Great taste and flavour, and good quality ingredients. I will definitely go back to this place again, very soon, and with my young kids next time.”

Chada Thai
● Closed“The best Thai flavours i have had in London, and as good as anything i have had in Thailand too. Apart from the food, the atmosphere is lovely and the service is superb. It so good that i will have to cross the river more frequently just to come back. Btw- they go out of the way to accommodate you if you are vegetarian or vegan, no accidental fish sauce here.”

MAI THAI KITCHEN
● Closed37 High Street Cheshunt, Cheshunt, Waltham Cross EN8 0BS, United Kingdom“The food is great. The tamarind duck was perfectly cooked and not too sweet. The coconut rice was delicious and the beef massaman was anogher great choice. Unfortunately there was only one waitress so she was a little overworked but still gave great service. We'll definitely be visiting Mai Thai again.”

Café Japan
● Open“I loved this place! I'm enthusiastic to have found another great place for sushi! There is a good variety of choices (Suzuki, Tai, Hamachi, Buri) and the quality definitely stands out (I suppose it is because the fish is supplied by Atariya). We had for starters edamame and agedashi tofu. For thefish, we had the nigiri omakase (chef's choice) and 7 kinds of sashimi. Last but not least, the price, which might appear expensive, is adequate in my opinion to the quality and the service you receive.”

Dhamaka Restaurant
● Open“Newly opened (July 22), and very welcome to Ickenham. Smart interior design. Menu with some unfamiliar items which are mostly just your curries under different names. Extensive vegetarian options. Standard bar. Food was really good. Service a little hesitant as team settle in. Prices low now because of opening promotion.”

Bombay Naka
● Open151 High Street, Staines-upon-Thames, Staines-upon-thames[11] TW18 4PA, United Kingdom“Excellent new address in Staines! Warmly welcomed by owner Dev and professional waitress Lipika, we had a succulent festive dinner . A large selection of typical regional dishes from Bombay local Khas, or a more classic tandoor or dal, your 5 senses will be submersed. The whole accompanied with a nice bottle of wine . Thank you very much . We shall be back soon.”

Hansa's Thai Kitchen
● Open“We were recommended this place by a couple of our friends and couldn't wait to order. The red curry and pad thai were absolutely stunning- so delicious and flavourful. The drunken noodle on the other hand was a bit disappointing- it was quite greasy and did not have much flavour to it at all. Overall very pleased though and will definitely order again. I'd highly recommend Hansa to anyone.”

Lahori Masala Southall
● Open“Firstly, the staff were brilliant and very friendly. The food was very tasty and the portion was good. The food was also reasonably priced and arrived within the expected time. The atmosphere was at the correct temperature as well as the decor being very nice. As the food arrived the staff made sure we had everything and if we needed anything else, even half way through our meal they asked if there was anything more we wanted, this showed customer service at it's best. Will definitely recommend this place as I will be coming here whenever I come to Southall.”

Chowka Indian Kitchen
● Open20 High Street, Hampton Hill, Hampton TW12 1PD, United Kingdom“Beautiful authentic Indian food! Had a gorgeous takeaway the other night with my two sons. All three of our main courses were different and had their own unique taste and flavours. They loved the lamb bhuna and the lamb shank. They are converted to Chowka! Pork Vindaloo was unlike anything you get served up in your typical takeaway. Well spiced and tasting as a proper vindaloo should. And they aubergine are to die for!!!! Never disappoints.”

Colombo Kitchen - Hopper & Kottu Bar
● Open“As a born (but not bred) Sri Lankan I think this is the best Sri Lankan food I've had in the UK, much better than stinky Hoppers (which sucks btw all you enablers!). The hoppers here are delicious, crispy and light with a hint of sour just like home and the curries to dip your hoppers in to are soooo good!! Equally the kotthu is great and again doused with any one of the curries is a class combo. Both are must cop here.”
-
The House of Spice
