The Old Bell
“Nice place, friendly staff, and cocktails on tap. The outdoor seating area is also very nice.”
The Cock Inn
“great food, staff were brilliant from the kitchen and bar. No thing was any trouble. friendly pub, dogs welcome and Tony and Danni were outstanding”
Kings Head
“Lovely Christmas meal with my son and his girlfriend. The food was piping hot, and the waitress service was spot on. The only thing that I didn't like was how cold the toilets were.... the hand washing water was icy cold, and the drier was blowing out even colder air! Apart from that, it was a lovely Christmasy afternoon, and we will definitely be going back”
The Castle
“We liked to have a pint of beer and ale here. Girl part of our couple enjoyed fresh flowers on each table, which is nice touch ☺️”
Pig & Whistle
“Beautifully cooked food using great ingredients. Small manageable menu. Warm, knowledgeable staff. Feels grown up but also child friendly!”
Chequers Tavern
“Really great cosy traditional pub with good beer and drinks selection. Friendly atmosphere, nice happy staff”
One Tun
“Great friendly venue. Very dog and family friendly to all hours. Even lets you bring cats. Highly recommend.”
Golden Lion
“Great place, amazing decor and really good food! Service was great and the people were very polite. We had fish and chips and it was delicious. The only thing that didn’t stick was the music, it was modern pop/rap but it wasn’t playing loud so it didn’t bother us and we could chat easily and comfortably. We came around 6 PM”
The Bunch Of Grapes
“Needed to eat and saw this pub and gave it a try. I ordered the Veggie platter which was excellent. The portion was huge. My husband had a burger and a Guinness. Burgers only come well done but he enjoyed it. Staff were very nice. Helped us find a seat to be comfortable. It’s a cozy pub but a good one.”
The Grove Tavern
“Lovely pub & delicious food. I've been there with my wife and we loved it. My wife had the Oven Baked Cod with aubergine Caponata and I had a Rib eye Steak MR perfectly cook. I was very impressed with the quality of food and the excellent Service, the staff make you feel very welcome there. I will definitely be back. I recommend it 100%”
Goat Tavern
“Very nice cozy little English Pub to grab a pint of beer. Located near Kensington Palace. Love the old time atmosphere feel. Great pub food menu and reasonably priced. Will be returning next time in Kensington.”
The Morpeth Arms
“Strongly recommend! After visiting Tate Britain I was looking for a nice pub to end a London weekend trip with some fish & chips, this was even better than I hoped. The food was super good, you can tell the products used are fresh, my fries were very well cooked (and I live in Belgium so I should know!) and the fish was delicious. My boyfriend’s meal was very good as well. Slightly more expensive than pubs nearby but it’s worth it.”
Canton Arms
“One of the best messiahs, I mean pubs in London, and I should know I've worshipped a few. Great beer, free crisps and good food. Can be a bit of more food than drinking but, frew crisps so...”
Kings Arms Chelsea
“Was there on Wednesday night and the environment was great. The team was very attentive and the food was amazing. Will definitely come back!”
The Durell Arms
“absolutely love this pub! I came with my friends for a couple drinks, the football was on and the atmosphere was great!! We had booked a table and the lady serving us Ellie was very attentive. Will definitely be back again, cheers.”
Tudor Rose Coulsdon
“All the food was really good and the service was very friendly. The atmosphere was also really nice. The flowers on the tables were real instead of dusty plastic ones like I usually see in pubs. My partner really likes fried squid but had struggled to find a place that really nails it: crispy but not overcooked and not rubbery. This place had the perfect fried squid. We loved everything else we got as well: fried brie (pictured), chicken Caesar salad, sticky chicken, chips, and scallops.”
Royal Albert
“Good local pub to Crystal Palace campsite with some decent real ale.”
The Castle
“Really lovely Sunday roast and managed to have a gluten free roast too which was delicious! The manager (not sure what his name was, just know he was from Cyprus!) and the waiter were so accommodating with my allergy. Love it here so much and so happy to live just around the corner!”
The Three Crowns
“Excellent pull down screen and loud, clear speakers for watching live sports. The beer selection is reasonable, with enough options to for everyone to find something to their liking, and the decor and general atmosphere is homely, upbeat and lively. The cheesy fries were far too cheesy for us, however, with the bottom being more akin to the taste and texture of the sauce you’d find in Mac and cheese.”
The Barley Mow
“First time coming to this pub - what a lovely pub!! Lovely staff, amazing atmosphere, can't wait to come back. JESS is so lovely and welcoming. The staff really make it.”
The Old Ivy House
“Recently discovered this pub and have been back twice in a week. The atmosphere is really cool, good music, great wine list and a good mixture of classic and craft beer. Just enjoyed an incredible Punjabi Indian lunch also, which was delish! Staff are really lovely too - great spot, check it out”
The Horatia
“Really lovely pub. There on match day. Lovely space, nice beers and a great atmosphere. Very enjoyable.”
Weavers Arms
“This is a proper boozer. One of the few remaining in London. Tracey and Adam behind the bar will make you feel welcome and the prices are amazingly low! Pool table, music, live sport. What more could you want!?! Fully recommend the Guinness too, which is even rarer!”
The Salisbury Arms
“They had very limited dishes as we missed Sunday lunch so ordered the fish and chips. It was delicious and crispy. Plus, this is the only pub I know that sells my favourite red wine 19 crimes. So 5 stars all over. Service is great too. They are quick and on the ball which means the bar isn't clogged with people waiting to be served. There's a car park opposite which requires your car registration in the pub.”
Bull & Gate
“Went here for a delicious Sunday roast. Great for families as they also have a kids menu and crayons. Very nice service and great pub atmosphere”
The White Hart
“Does exactly what it says on the tin, and does it very well. Great drinks, food and very friendly team. Haven't tried thè food yet because of my schedule, but menu looks excellent and i'm making a point to make time one of these days to try It. For now, thanks for the nice cold beers!”
