Great price point, play area for the kids and an adequate sized car park. It’s got mood lighting in the pub and more light in the restaurant, a great ambience for a long lazy lunch or a quick bite. We will definitely go back.”

However, staff were very friendly and promptly accommodate our request. The roast was delicious, very generous size and very short wait to have the food brought to the table. Prices are very reasonable.”

The Metropolitan
● ClosedChalfont Station Road, Little Chalfont, Amersham HP7 9PN, United Kingdom“Evening meal here tonight was lovely. One way system in and out and tables with good distance between them for Covid-19 measures. Hand gel at door but this was empty on our arrival, but i always carry my own anyway. Staff were friendly and service was good. We had the halloumi fries and cheesy fries as added sides to our full rack of ribs meal and desperate dan burger meal (as pictured). Portions were good and we really didn't need the additional fries. With an alcoholic and a soft drink on the bill minus the eat out to help out discount our bill was just over £30.”

I loved the food, the ambiance, and the service. I went with my daughter after doing half of our hike. A couple of pints and I lovely pastry filled with meat vegetables gravy classic British fare. A spectacular view, and all in all it was a lovely day.”

Tide End Cottage
● Closed“July, sunny weekend, and still enough places for a group of 8 to sit and enjoy the food and beer. Food was great, great selection of beers, service was good and the secret garden at the back was a bonus. I really not sure why the pub next door is so full when this little gem was half empty, but we took it to our advantage.”

The White Horse
● Closed4 Wembley Park Boulevard, Wembley Park, Wembley HA9 0HP, United Kingdom“There’s a lot to like In normal times, the pubs around Wembley stadium are perpetually heaving; the area’s a tourist destination behind is Wembley national stadium and opposite is Wembley Arena and Brent Council Office You can imagine during event days this place gets busy but I visited the place on non event day got served quickly at the bar was moderatly busy as one section of the place was hired for a private event bartenders and warm, knowledgeable and friendly staff. The White Horse has a sophisticated and modern take on a classic English pub with few normal sitting leather padded chairs and high sitting chairs ..I sat next to the coffee bar on a high end chair opposite the kitchen area where the staff was chucking away the glass bottles trying to make as much noice as possible of bottle breaking in the recycle bin Coat is classic pub price with wide range of bar snacks to select from. Definitely recommend to try it out as I will be going again to try some mains options and update the review”

The Old Pack Horse, Chiswick
● Closed“My favourite pub in London which as a Chiswick local I am blessed to have here. A Fullers pub run by Mike and his well picked team who really know what they are doing. Expect warm welcome, nice crowd of all sorts of Londoners coming together over a great selection of Fullers beers and great Thai food. There are unique guest ones on tap rotated often and they always have crisp cold Asahi larger to wash down the best Thai food in London. Dogs are welcome like all good London pubs, our have developed a taste of Thai food and as a result, they always drag us there. Thai restaurant at the back if you are not a dog lover and want a restaurant setting for your night.”
