“First impressions when walking into this place is that they’ve clearly tried to set themselves apart here in terms of decor. Environment is modern yet also warm with a few individual touches that gives the place personality. We came on a weekday so the bar on the ground floor was pretty empty but can imagine is a good place to have a couple of drinks before headed upstairs to the restaurant. There is a good range of meats and seafood on the menu, and with a good selection on the set menu choices also. Although did enjoy the food nothing really “outstanding”. “What a gem of a place. Driven past on many occasion, liked the look of the decor. Five years later I finally found myself in there and can honestly say I shall be going back. Considering the quality of the food and service provided there, this one place is very reasonably priced. They make a mean cocktail too. Not to be pushy, but you ought to try it!”

I rate the whole experience from booking, ordering, service and food a 5 star. The waitresses were brilliant and friendly and the Christmas buffet menu was a great experience as each person could take what they wanted and every single main and side we chose was really nice. “We stayed for one night in December 2010. The house is immaculate, the bedroom spacious and the shared bathroom (ours was the one without an en-suite) luxurious. A lovely, freshly cooked breakfast and a very friendly hostess. Very convenient for London rail links and very upmarket area.”
