PAYA EWELL
“Quality and plentiful food. Reasonably priced. Speedy delivery. 1st time but wont be last. I had chinese and my partner had thai. It was splendid.”
The Green Curry
“Great Thai food, one of the best I’ve had. Staff are also super friendly and the atmosphere is great too. I would definitely recommend going here!”
The Latymers, Hammersmith
“Came for dinner which was great. Really nice Thai food and reasonably priced - my massaman curry was £9.50 and £3 for rice. Pint of Amstel for £4.95. Staff were very pleasant too and it's a nice looking pub inside. We came at 6pm on a Friday, and the only thing I would have changed would be to have sat in the livelier pub section or outside. We assumed we had to sit in the restaurant section, and this was pretty empty and didn't have any music on, so the atmosphere was better elsewhere in/outside the building. We could indeed have sat anywhere though so that's our mistake!”
Bangkok Bay
“Awsome...probably the best Thai food in London....I could eat here every day....had the mixed platter for starters and the stir fry prawns with the special rice....everything was perfect right down to the service and very reasonable price wise for this end of town....so full we couldn't manage dessert as portions were so big....only thing missing was draught beer! Singha bottles had to suffice....”
Banana Tree
“We have been ordering from Banana Tree for many years and this was the first time for us to eat in. I definitely recommend to go and eat in! The food it’s very good and they have fantastic offers on drinks (buy 1 get 1 free). Service is friendly.”
Siam Brasserie
“Usually order through Uber eats but went there for dinner on Friday and it was so good The food is fresh and tasty and so cheap compare to other Thai places in the area The place in itself could do with a fresh lick of paint but do not let that stop you from going there and enjoy a nice and freshly prepared meal!”

“Found this place based on reviews. We were visiting London for the weekend and wanted to check out Soho. We didn't make reservations and the wait was insane. We ended up being seated at 9:30 pm on Saturday night. The food was pretty good. The ox heart laap was very spicy but flavorful. Cumin beef skewer was amazing. The mackerel salad and reddish salad were great too. The glass noodles was a little underwhelming but still tasty. The best part is the vibe. Love the bar seating. It's cozy and intimate. y I love that you can watch food being prepared from the kitchen.”
The Heron
“Possibly the best bar in London. On a recent business trip, myself and 2 colleagues stumbled across this pub while on route to another using unreliable directions. A flat roofed pub joined onto a block of flats would normally set of alarm bells if you were in Scotland in the 80s/90s but this little gem proved to be different. Quirky decorations and photos were attached the ceiling and walls. Staff were very friendly and there was a large selection of beer and other booze to choose from. We only had time for one pint but it was a good one. In addition - there was a Thai restaurant underneath which I hope to check out next time.”
Wok And Fire
“I was really impressed with how fast and accurate the staff were with our orders. The food was fresh and tasty. Also very nice portions. Food is halal. The service was very professional and friendly. Would recommend.”
Asia Villa
“Best takeaway in this area Every item are vegan friendly And spicy chilly yaki udon supposed to be best food of this place”
Maries Cafe
“Delicious dinner! Don’t miss this friendly family run institution if you are in the area. They do not have much room and queues often form after 18:00 but well worth the wait. Simple decor, seats, table and kitchen on view for most tables. There is a wide selection to choose from and all very reasonably priced. If you are looking for alcohol I believe it is BYOB. The food was all tasty, ingredients seemed fresh and oil used for frying was clean tasting. Two of us ate three starters, two mains (plus rice) and two desserts for £45.”
Kanchana's Kitchen
“The food was great and the atmosphere was lovely it was rather crowded after work hours and it certainly took me a minute to find the restaurant through the pub but it was definitely worth the effort I’m from the US and I live in California which has a lot of great Thai food and this place was surprisingly good. I had a great time everyone was very friendly and I had a wonderful chat with the person next to me at the counter, overall wonderful atmosphere and delicious food!”
Coconut
“This little takeaway is literally why I brave the commute into the office - because I know lovely lunch from here awaits”
East Street by Tampopo Fitzrovia
“Just passing, looked a good place so we went in. Not disappointed in any way. The staff were all attentive and we were soon seated and a drinks order taken. We shared a spring role starter ,there were 6 and it came with a tamarind sauce, nice presented on a leaf ... not the best but good enough. The mains were pad-thai I had prawns and the Royal version, wrapped in a omelette. Very nice, great taste and good spice levels. Drinks were not very cheap ,but that's Central London. Yes would go back.”
Banana Tree Soho
“Really good food. Turned up and didn’t realise it was happy hour. Great value and really good sized portions. You feel well fed and food is very fresh.”
Banana Tree Islington
“Oh man, such a great pan-asian restaurant with delicious Asian dishes including abundant vegan options! Lively and smiley staff, super quick service and delicious food! They also have “Kids eat free on sundays” campaign atm.”
som saa
“Thai is one of my favourite cuisines - been there many times and eaten at many good Thai restaurants - this is one of the best Thai meals I have had. The hard part with Thai is finding authentic thai that does not compromise on flavour and heat - this does not disappoint. Service also great - I was dining solo and the person serving me offered 2 half size dishes so I could have variety - brilliant. The red curry was amazing - as was the fish with lemongrass - really spicy and nice. I'll be back!”
MBER
“The service here was so warm and helpful, it made for such a beautiful early valentine's! The atmosphere was lovely and we were seated at a tucked away corner table, which was great. I was really impressed by the vegan options on the menu - they were very original and delicious. We also learned there's a vegan tasting menu that can be organised ahead of time. I'll definitely be coming back again with friends too!”
Gaab Kao
“Decided to eat here simply because I loved the owners response to some of the so called complaints. Made me chuckle. Someone who puts people who think they are better than the queen in their place deserves my patronage. The food was top notch as per the service. Will defo be eating here again.”
Giggling Squid - Chelmsford
“Flavoursome!!! Delicious mouth-watering Thai food. The decor is pleasing, a little romantic but not overwhelming. A few tables have an intimate floral cage enclosure. As expected when the food is good, it's a busy restaurant, book to avoid disappointment. It's in Chelmsford City center with ample parking spaces nearby.”
Good Wok Express
“Me and my parents absolutely love ordering takeaway from here! Whenever we ponder on what takeaway to order on a Friday, my mum always mentions this place! We are all happy when we eat from here. I will resist the urge to eat before taking photos next time I order and share photos on here.”
Pot and Rice
“One of the best places for Korean/Chinese style rice bowls in Elephant and Castle! The Taiwanese fried chicken starter (Pictured) is also juicy and really well seasoned. I always have the Chinese salami (pictured) rice bowl and it never fails. On the other hand, my partner had the pork and bamboo which had a quite strong fish sauce flavor but was still nicely smoky and well cooked. The portions are very large so come with an empty stomach. Still, I do believe they could lower the prices, 9 pounds for a starter and 14 for a main that is mostly rice, is a bit much.”
Mama Li
“Ordered 2 meat combo and rice the other day and love it. Authentic HK roast meats, definitely a must try if you live in East London area!”
Junsei
“Junsei is a great restaurant that serves a variety of delicious dishes. One of my favorites is the Tsukune, which is a Japanese-style chicken meatball that is grilled to perfection. The chick wings are also a standout, with a crispy exterior and juicy interior that is packed with flavor. The onigiri, are also a must-try. They are a great option for a quick and satisfying snack or lunch. The service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Overall, I highly recommend Junsei for anyone looking for a tasty and authentic Japanese cuisine experience.”
Côte Kingston upon Thames
“So blessed that I found this restaurant near the river. It was a sunny day and good vibe at Cote. The staff were super nice and polite, food were ok. Definitely recommend to anyone who visits Kingston and wants to have a chill and relaxed day.”
The Castle, Harrow
“Fantastic pub and great tasting food. Lovely staff. Great portions of food. Good value of money. Especially children meals”
The Ashbourne
“Great bar really friendly staff and one of the best selections of food and beers. Really well priced too for London. worth a visit for sure”
The Fat Walrus
“So lucky to have this place locally to me. Food has always been consistent and service is always great. Staff members are very professional, friendly and efficient. Love the beer garden as well, so good for summer time. Do try out this place, they also have a great drinks menu.”
The Star
“Had the wake for my dad here. Staff were very helpful. Food spread was perfect and delicious, not your normal fare. Beer selection was good and not your normal brands.”
Yip Oriental Store.
“Staff (family) is extremely friendly and will go out of their way to explain what the items are and how you can use/cook/eat them. The prices are cheap and/or reasonable. I like to buy firm tofu here as it is tastier then the one on the supermarkets (it's fresher as well) and slightly cheaper. Also if you never tried fresh, yes fresh soya milk you need to come to this store.”
