“My latest tattoo is nearly complete. I was tattooed by Esther but honestly everybody who works here is super friendly and approachable. The studio is immaculately clean, the atmosphere is really chilled and honestly it’s just a pleasure to go to. That’s all before the incredible tattoo. I have only been tattooed by Esther but I have to say she is an incredibly talented and meticulous artist. Further to that, she’s just lovely and caring to her clients. The studio is entirely inclusive and patient. I am sure that if at any time I needed to stop for a break this would have been welcomed, in fact throughout my session Esther asked if I want to break, even stopping the timer to allow for this. This is something I’ve never had in other studios, usually feeling like I have to rush my break to avoid being charged more. All in all, I would recommend this studio to anybody getting their first tattoo or their hundredth. I’ll be back many times I am sure.”

The shop has never hidden the fact that she is an apprentice and if you ask you are told (seriously, if you go into a tattoo shop and don’t ask any questions at all or ask to see a portfolio before trusting someone with large/detailed work then that’s not the fault of the shop!). “By far the most amazing tattoo experience. Angel is just such a gentle and amazing artist. I had a mandala, jewelry lotus flower piece on my forearm. The studio: Easy to locate and very clean and open. There is a sense of tranquility from the moment you step in. Business communication: Everything was communicated clearly and promptly so there were never any doubts about anything. The Experience: I pre-booked and received my design in advance and it came out even better than imagined. Went to the studio for the session and was welcomed in with open arms and a nice cup of herbal tea. Angel was very knowledgeable and professional, nothing was rushed. She is a very gentle tattooer and I managed to get through the whole session with no breaks or pain. There was room for casual conversation and more importantly there was room just to be and get immersed in the experience. I would highly recommend Angel for a tattoo and hopefully, someday, I will get another piece done.”

In fact she told me to not rush and follow my heart. That it’s when I knew I wanted Emma to tattoo me! I went to chat with Emma before I booked and we looked at designs and she did some sketches and again she was so helpful, friendly and made me feel welcome even as a newbie to tattoos! My wife and I decided to get paper-themed tattoos for our first wedding anniversary and having seen some of the work done by Doll’s Tattoo on Instagram and Facebook, decided to try this new artist in Teddington … best decision I’ve made! From the moment we first contacted them and described what we wanted, they got it. When we received the designs, it was exactly what we wanted. On the day, we went to the studio, which is a very interesting space and we were immediately impressed by the modern equipment and the friendly welcome we received, not to mention the numerous awards on display. We did some fine tuning with sizes until we were both 100% happy and then they set about preparing to tattoo us, which was methodical and thorough, with all the considerations you would expect. The equipment used was very modern, with very high quality ink, which complements the quality of the work by Doll’s. The line work is exquisite and even on our small tattoos, you can see the detail and high level of skill. I would have no hesitation in recommending Doll’s Tattoo and will be returning myself in the future.”
