“This place is amazing and the pizza is really great. My only slight bit of commentary would be that this is essentially a takeaway / delivery place, there are constant bikes and delivery drivers coming and going and it seems like the staff focus is more on them than the customers who come to eat there. Bit of a shame, but not reason enough to mark them down a star!”

“A fine Japanese katsu curry in the heart of Farringdon. I’ve always walked past this little joint and on my way back home I found there was no queue and decided to eat. There are numerous options inside and my favourite is katsu. For the portion size, location this is good value. All in for £8.30 The service is prompt and polite and I sat outdoors where there are small seating areas. Highly recommended considering it’s always busy and represents good value for money!”

“My partner and I go here on a regular basis, fairly honest on a weekly basis. The staff are always next to nothing short of exceptional to us and everyone else who are lucky enough to go here. It's got the typical Japanese sombre yet comfortable atmosphere and you'll be very surprised at just how quick and delicious the food comes out. “First time we had brunch at Fego Cobham, had a great experience. We arrived at 11:30am on a weekday, served immediately. The poached egg and smashed avocado on sourdough bread was ok, pretty standard, very filling. The Mexican-inspired Ranchero, on the other hand, was rather delightful: poached eggs, sautéed potatoes, chorizo, mushroom, jalapenos, smashed avocado, coriander yoghurt. A medium spicy, tomatoey flavour - just perfect! Generous portion as well. Highly recommend!”

“On the menu for weekend 10/11th Feb 2018: Hu Time Nam Vang - tapioca noodles in pork broth, with succulent prawns, char sui pork, pork mince garnished with spring onions coriander and Chinese chive. Really excellent a wonderful break from my usual Pho I espied Banh mi 108 about a month back walking out of the tesco opposite. It's hidden away in an an unpretentious corner with a lite lime facade and no fancy display. To be honest if you aren't looking for it toh won't know it. However something about the place is inviting and cozy, and I kind of made a mental nite to gi and explore asap. Having tried out some excellent Vietnamese meat rolls in Birmingham last year, I was looking forward to coming in and comparing. Needless to say rhe ace is exceptional. The sUmmer roles were fresh made, rolled up delicately aromatic greens, some pork and prawns. Delicioso . Follows with a steaming hot bowl if Pho, beef soup and noodles with more greens, chillies and beansprouts. The broth was light, and fresh made and delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed a great service. Will go back for more”

“Well you get used to Indian restaurants all being much the same, but at Mahirah they have broken the mould and the difference is in their service. We were greeted well, but rather than being left to peruse the menu, were intuitively offered poppadoms and of course beers (two blokes out for an Indian, how did they guess). After ordering we were left to chat over our poppadoms and pickles (5 beautifully different ones) and quietly advised when our main course was ready, but also encouraged not to rush, but to let them know when we were ready; this was a really nice touch. It might sound like an afterthought but the food was all just terrific, my curry being fresh and spicy but not spicy hot for example. Great food, great service, Great Scott, go give it a try.”
