Good wine selection. Everything you need to make a meal is available. During the pandemic, they have put restriction in place for sraff and customer safety. All trollies are wiped down and handed to you at entrance, also at exit someone will assist in carrying your shopping back to your car. Has great parking space available. Another pleasant shopping trip.”

Newens | The Original Maids of Honour
● Closed“Very much enjoyed a Christmassy afternoon tea. Visited for the second time. Lovely decor and atmosphere, wonderful desserts. Mains are very traditional British, meaning for most people they lack spices or even salt. The staff are great and friendly, but the place is always understaffed and the poor waiters are running around to try and serve the seated guests and the counter simultaneously. Of course that results in slow service. From my experience they also often don't have some items on the menu. While improvements could be made, I would recommend visiting the place at least once for the special experience.”

L'Amandine Patisserie and Coffee House
● Closed“Had frequently cycled past on our way to Richmond Park, it's too soon for a coffee stop, until today. We'd cycled around 30 miles up & down the hills of Richmond Park, on our way to completing the Festive 500, and needed a break. Could do with some bike parking nearby, but the coffees and cakes were much appreciated on a cool Boxing Day lunchtime.”
-
Costa Coffee
● Closed“My favourite branch of Costa. Great staff team who are always friendly, sometimes funny and happy to chat which gives a slightly more personal or independent coffee shop feel. Even when there's a long queue, the wait isn't as long as many other branches. Coffee is made well and more than happy to accommodate customer preferences (hotter, colder, half and half milk and a myriad of requests I've heard from other customers whilst waiting to be served). Indoor and outdoor seating, street parking and a car park behind the shops. Great if you've been for a walk in the park as its just outside the gate.”
