Best Theatre Arts
● Closed“My daughter has done Best holiday clubs four times over the last few years, and has loved it every time. They do a great job of welcoming and including everyone, and including a wide range of activities and somehow coming up with a masterpiece of a show at the end of each week. The staff are the same each time and clearly enjoy what they do. We are big fans. Thanks all at Best!”

Bearfoot School Of Performing Arts
● Open“My little girl has been going to ballet classes with the bare foot dance school for about a year and a half. She is now nearly 4. She adores her teachers and cannot wait to go to her lessons each week. In fact she’s disappointed when there are breaks. It is perfect for her as there isn’t that strict element which most dance schools possess. I personally feel that this harsh approach often deters children when it comes to them gaining confidence in performance. I couldn’t recommend this wonderful school enough!”

The Willows School
● Closed“An absolutely wonderful primary school, with the most hard working, caring and professional staff. This school offers an alternative for children who need the extra time, support, care and understanding that they so need and deserve. It has a feeling of true compassion, empathy and calm atmosphere that is clearly apparent in the school building, classrooms, every member of staff, and all events they hold. The children are happy, safe and thrive academically & socially, reaping the rewards of improvements in all their abilities, preparing them for secondary school, the big wide world, and all the possibilities out there for them.”

-
Stagecoach Performing Arts Coulsdon
● Closed“Both my children have been doing Stagecoach for over 10 years and the only bad thing about it is the long holidays! They can't wait to go back. They have both had the opportunity to take part in shows that have been professional, great fun and very entertaining. They can also gain qualifications that help them with school work. However, the absolute best thing for both of them is having a group of friends that are completely separate to school. The new principal Amanda has injected a new blast of enthusiasm and the teaching is, and always has been excellent. Can't recommend enough. They will look back on this time when they are older with the fondest of memories. Thank you Stagecoach!”

Claremont High School
● Closed“As of writing this review, I'm a Year 12 student who's been in the school for almost six years, and I'm taking A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Computer Science and French. Thus, I feel I'm more experienced than most other reviewers to talk about the school. Firstly, let me say that this is no grammar or private school. Not everyone's parents have hundreds of thousands of pounds to send their children, and not everyone finds irrational joy in studying eight hours a day every day after school. Most people are just your average person, but for me, that's perfect. You'll get to know most of the people in your year, and perhaps in the years above and below you, too. Friendship groups form quickly and easily, and many are happy to accept other students. In the older years (Year 10 onwards), people start to socialise with others outside their friendship group, and I enjoy the social scene here. In my case, being able to talk to extremely talented people is an opportunity I wouldn't exchange for anything: I've grown attached to my friends as though they were family. And, while not everyone here is a four A*-type student, we certainly get those types: every year, we have students who get all A*s and go off to Oxford or Cambridge. If you aspire to be one of those students, don't write off Claremont just because you think you'll do better by going to another school! The teachers are also incredibly polite, for the most part. (Of course, there are teachers who the younger students would consider strict, but as you grow older, you'll see that it's just the different teaching personalities they adopt, and in reality, they aren't really that strict after all—your class were just really annoying!) They devote plenty of time and effort into ensuring every student succeeds academically and as a person. Their lessons are usually very well-planned, but their devotion to their students truly shines when one of them asks for help or discusses a topic with a teacher that they're both passionate about. This is especially helpful in the Sixth Form, where you'll often find yourself wanting to stimulate your own interest in the subject! Every week, we also hold competitions and clubs for all lower years, from sports to chess; we also have a few more unorthodox ones such as a cybersecurity/hacking club. The extracurricular scene is a bit lacking for the Sixth Form, though, but since you're allowed to leave when you don't have lessons, you probably won't need it. We have an active student body which includes a Prefect Team and a Student Voice, both of which allow students to suggest changes to improve the school. And while Claremont is by no means perfect, I thoroughly enjoy my time here, and I could not imagine having a better experience at any other school.”

Langley Grammar School
● Closed“Everyone has their own experiences with all sorts of things in life. When it comes to Langley Grammar School, I would say it is neither the best school on planet nor the worst. But definitely one of the top schools in Berkshire and surrounding areas. Students as far as Hounslow and further areas travel to Grammar schools in Slough. One has to look from broader prospective. There will be some issues when it comes to managing a school with 1200+ students. You need to have positive attitude and try and sort out any issues with school rather than just passing negative comments. It will be good not only for your child but also for school as things will improve and in yhis process other students too will benifit. Overall I would rate 5* to this school, the way they managed through pandemic with minimal distrupt to students educational progress. No wonder Ofsted has rated this school Outstanding.”

Southfields Academy
● Open“During the free lessons, students are allowed to use empty classrooms if the teachers are okay with it. If there is any issue with the subject or the students do not understand something, that subject teacher would be happy to help over the break times, or after school. all you have to do is be brave and ask for help. As A student, i can say from my point of view that School is recommended. There won't be any trouble if students are polite, always nice and behavior has its manners. With each year school updates its way of keeping the students safe from harm and trying it's best to overcome any challenges that students create for the school.”

Brunswick Park Primary School
● Closed“I can't believe the reviews here! Our son has been at this school for two years and I am impressed! The teachers I have come across, including the head teachers are all brilliant and warm and approachable and I feel our son is very well cared for and well taught. He has loved school and hopefully this has given him a strong base for enjoying the rest of his education. The teachers and head teachers are always careful to make sure parents are included and I have always felt that if I have any concerns, they will be taken seriously. In my opinion (and I think the vast majority of other parents) this is a good school which takes care to help each individual child to grow into responsible and respectful citizens through learning and playing.”
