Parkway Pre-School
● Open“Myself and my husband could not recommend this preschool enough. My daughter absolutely loves her preschool, she is excited to go every day. Even when it’s the weekend or school holidays she is always asking when is she going to see her teachers. All the teachers are so lovely and caring, they are all so happy to be there. They genuinely care about each and everyone of the children, and make their days so enjoyable! It’s a joy just to watch them with the children when you go to collect them. All of them always have smiles on their faces and are very approachable. They are also a great support to you as parents as well! Im going to be sad when my daughter leaves to start reception, As I know she will miss her teachers and all the other school children. But I’m hoping I can get my son into this preschool when he is old enough to attend! Love this preschool and the whole team!”

Inclusive Multi Academy Trust
● Open““Inspiring our children and community to be the very best that they can be!” As a Trustee I feel really privileged and proud to be involved in this journey. “Inclusive” is not only our name but core to everything we do to help our community fulfil the hopes and dreams of our children. Every day our 3 Watford primary schools – Beechfield, Cherry Tree and Laurance Haines work closely together to create great opportunities which inspire our pupils to learn and develop skills to adapt and succeed in our ever changing world. Each school is very much a part of the local community with its own distinct characteristics and curriculum –we don’t believe that one size fits all but a nurturing philosophy underlines everything we do. As part of a group of schools we provide opportunities for our children to participate and share in exciting projects across the schools – whether sporting, outdoors or creative - for example our art display in Watford Museum or the more recent song written and performed to celebrate and thank Covid-19 key workers. Supporting our people to succeed is a core belief and strength – we are lucky to include former pupils among our teaching staff! Working together enables the sharing and development of best practice whilst addressing workload too. Good career progression is available across the Trust schools. “if you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together – African Proverb”

Sudbrook School
● Closed“Sudbrook is a lovely school, the children are loved and taught and come out with a good background. There is a great mix of physical and mental work coupled with healthy amounts of play. Honestly we could have done with having longer hours but if that's the worst problem then they are doing very very well. Highly recommended for your little ones. Not recommended as a sixth form college :) ......................”

Montessori Garden Nursery School
● Open“Montessori Garden Nursery creates such a collegial, almost family-like dynamic between teachers, children and parents. This sense of shared responsibility makes me feel as a parent that my child is receiving the best possible care - the teachers are as invested in my child's development as we as parents might be. Moreover, child development includes socialisation with others and the notion of being a 'good citizen of the classroom'; self care and care for others is emphasised. As parents then, the sense of shared responsibility also means that we come to view the nursery less as a service provider, and more as a partner. The blurred lines can be productive, as above, but if you are searching for a 'business-customer' relationship (understandable given the costs involved), this was not our experience. Rather, we felt part of the school and our child loved to go every morning without fail!”

Play B C Preschool
● Closed“My daughter has thrived at BC Preschool, I can honestly say that I have complete peace of mind when I know she is there. The teachers are tentative, kind and considerate and acknowledge every child the same. No child gets overlooked. The activities that are set are engaging and carefully thought out, in addition to this, communications are sent back to parents to help continue the activity for the week at home. The newsletters are very informative and help guide me on how best to help my child thrive. Observations are shared with parents through an online tool which you as a parent can also update with activities we do outside of nursery and they are acknowledged and commented on which is refreshing. The communication overall, even on a daily basis is second to none and the teachers are very skilled at managing and helping them through the settling in phase or days where they are a little more sensitive. It is also nice that they do their best to ease any worry of the parent as they leave. The environment feels safe and the ratio of carers to children is well balanced. Some lovely little excursions are arranged and parents can join on occasion to help out. Great place to prepare a child for the bigger schools as everything that is planned is prepared with this in the mind to make it an easier transition. Big thanks from as always.”
