Novikov Restaurant & Bar
● Open“Truly a high class experience. One mishap, while booking a reservations online I did not see there are bookings for Italian and Asian kitchens but you can order certain items from the other menu such as oysters. Very well trained waitstaff and service. Appropriately timed dishes. You do not feel rushed. You get your moneys worth. The drinks were very delicious. Reservations I would say are required. The limited time only cigar dessert was phenomenal as well as the presentation. The Greek salad could have used more ‘oomph’ like onions and cucumbers.”

The Place
● Open“I have been The Place in total of 3 times, I like it. Its canteen is very reasonable and comfortable. Very close from Euston station. It is a bit difficult to find if you come from Kings Cross, but it is just next to Premier Inn of Duke Street behind a big church you can see from just outside Euston station. The theatre is a good size, easy to see from front row to middle row. I never sat at the back so I am not sure but I imagine it would be also good view. The theatre is a pit style so the stage is lowest and seats are going up gradually. Only thing I do not like about the location is that Euston Road is so heavy traffic all the time so it is frustrating to cross the road. Need to cross about 4 traffic lights to get the place from the station. And some traffic lights do not change for long time even there is not much traffic. With a child , it gets me nervous each time. They do an open day around the end of July every year, we went only once but that was totally inspiring and fun. My daughter learned about Maddy Ziggler from that day. We also saw a beatiful dance + theatre , a story about “a fish is getting so big to eat the world”. That was very good. We should have more shows like that for kids ( something not a Christmas panto, not just a comedy but inspiring / beautiful, not too expensive and most importantly not too long!!!) But many workshops looked like mostly for under 6, so my daughter might be a bit too old now. I went to see Zoonation Academy's Christmas show the other day here and it was excellent (I did not have any relatives or somebody I know in the show). Highly recommend it !”

Under 1 Roof: A Kid's Urban Oasis
● Closed“A mix of soft play and an indoor playground. My 20 month year old loved it, moreso the soft play as he is at a very active stage. The indoor playground I would highly recommend for crawlers. Their are lots of toys laying around and a large space to explore by crawling. Also very clean. You get a 3 hour time slot. Although the space is not so large, it is very engaging and kept my toddler entertained for the full 3 hours!”

Moreover many of the people attending my class are appreciative of the covid policies and practices they have in place. They clearly have worked very hard in an attempt to make dancers feel safe and comfortable attending dance classes again for this I am grateful.”
