Thai Emperor Restaurant & Takeaway
● Closed“The drinks selection was vast with a lovely presentation glass of the Amaretto. The decor of the staff and restaurant is admirable. Contemporary yet approachable. The food service was prompt and friendly with a lovely young waitress who served the dinner with a smile. To start, we ordered Thai dumplings; steamed to a delicious level of softness. The dumplings set the bar high for the rest of the meal. The main course was a aromatic Pad Guay Teaw Kee-Mao, a perfect level of spice for those who enjoy a slight kick, with tender prawns and adequetly cooked noodles. The bar was set high, to finish the meal we decided to share a plate of the banana fritters. Served with vanilla ice cream it was a tasty combination of sweet and savoury; however the fritters themself were a tad oily and the ice cream was fast to melt. I would recommend a different bowl for the ice cream next time. As a whole the experience was memorable, approachable and professional. A must visit for those who are a fan of Thai food. Would certainly comeback to try the rest of the menu.”

Number One Thai Restaurant
● Closed“In times like these it's a blessing to have a place like Thai #1 so close to us. It's important to remember that all their food is prepared fresh, so the meat always tastes good, the vegetables crisp, and the sauces have that just out of the kitchen freshness that you just don't get in similar places. Best place for Thai food outside of Bangkok itself!”
-
Turpan Uyghur restaurant
● Closed108 Great Russell Street, London WC1B 3NA, United Kingdom“A serene quiet atmosphere, calm. Food was delicious, loved the spices. The meat used in the steamed buns, samsa and soup have a very similar great taste, just know that if you want variet. The top two dishes were the Pilaf and Soup. Closely followed by Samsa. Pilaf had great texture, rice was interestingly sweet and meat melted Soup with meat dumplings had an aromatic smell, it was light but filling All the food had a homey flavor like your grandmother made it. Would definitely visit again.”

Mien Tay 5 Restaurant

They don't do all street food must the ones they do almost take me back to Saigon. The phố and bún bò Huế spicy noodle soup broth is really good along with most starters. Oh and the mango salad is so yummmmm”

South & North Chinese Restaurant
● Closed241 Greenwich High Road, London SE10 8NB, United Kingdom“Amazing, authentic Chinese food bursting with flavours and freshness. Probably the best Chinese resto I’ve ever tried in the UK. So underrated. Restaurants in Chinatown can’t compare. The meal I had with my husband was so comforting. The sweet corn soup was perfect and not diluted like most soups from Chinese takeaways. The salt and pepper squid was perfectly battered and packed with a symphony of spices. The Szechuan chicken was the main event. The combo of onions, peppercorns and dried chillies on top was show-stopping. The steamed rice was great, and everything went well with Tsingtao beer and oolong tea. Service was good as well. The waitresses were so attentive and polite. We will definitely be back, and we’ll bring our friends with us!”
