“After realising we hadn't booked a return transfer from Gatwick, we were able to email Catax from Spain, with a pickup request. We got a quick response with availability and price. A couple of replies later and we were booked in. Despite the flight being delayed, we received text updates of the drivers car details and a call to update us. We were then greeted at the airport by a very friendly and courteous driver who escorted us to his very clean VW passat estate. “This is a great company, I have been using it for 18 years now and I have never been failed, it has very well kept cars and very kind drivers, I often use them for airport runs and to pick my kids up from school! My husband loves Oxted Station taxis because they do airport transfers and he often gets taxis from oxted to Heatrow. They treat my family very nicely and are very down to earth, I often ask for a lady driver, they know the roads like the back of their hands, my kids always prefer them when getting a taxi. My oldest son who has not got a driving license uses them often and recommends them to his friends because this car company is the most reliable!!”

“Oct 2022 - It seems I'm not able to leave a second review so I'm having to add to the one I left last year. Once again I have had excellent service from Station Minicabs (formerly Central Radio Cars). This morning was the first time I have booked via the website and it was really easy. The confirmation email and text were reassuring and the link to allow you to track the cab is great - it was so useful to be able to see when the car was approaching so I could put the cat in his basket at the last minute and not add to the stress of the trip to the vet! Please please give my thanks to my two drivers from today - Steven (driver 13) and Abdul (driver 3) - both were absolutely lovely, professional, chatty, I could not fault them in any way. They were also both extremely understanding about the fact that I had temporarily lost my purse, which was very embarrassing and worrying for me. I have now found it and left money at the office for them but want to say THANK YOU so much for being so kind about it and I apologise for any inconvenience. Oct 2021 - I have been using this reliable company for around 15 years but only felt compelled to leave a review this morning after the man in the office went above and beyond to help me get me and my cat (both quite stressed!) to our vet appointment after one of their other drivers got stuck in traffic. The man locked the office and came to pick me up personally while diverting the business calls so he could answer from the car. I'm so impressed and quite moved that he would go to such lengths - such care for the customer should be applauded. The driver who took me home later on was also absolutely lovely - friendly, chatty, opened the door for me, offered to help carry the cat basket. PLEASE SUPPORT LOCAL FIRMS AND NOT UBER!!”
