“Cannot rate Studio K highly enough. The teachers Chloe and Sarah are so friendly and always bring good vibes. The classes are super fun, a great work out, simple booking via Mindbody and it's very reasonable at around £10 a class. Love it so much and can’t believe I hadn’t been before I did. Really friendly atmosphere no matter what level you’re at and all body types welcome!. They even introduce new people to the class by name and make the effort to remember people’s names. Can recommend hip hop, clubbercise and Zumba. Thank you ladies!!”

“First Dance Studios is a really friendly dancing school for adults. From the first day I started there, I could tell what a really caring and happy place it is. I was really nervous going back to dancing after many years, but the lovely teachers put me at ease and I felt like I belonged after only about 5 minutes. Everyone is so lovely and it is so well organised too with an emphasis on fun. First Dance Studios is a great place.”

“We have been consistently impressed with the Leanne Edwards School. Our daughter has trialed and is now a regular at a number classes and enjoys every minute. The teachers are great with the children and patient with us adults with all our questions! It's been a difficult year through covid restrictions but the school has kept the children engaged and moving and have always put the childrens safety first as everyone is now back together. “My three children attended JMDS for 13 years. They attended all classes on and off , but particularly thrived in the dance classes from classical ballet through to contemporary and street jazz. My son stayed until he was 19 years old reaching his advanced 2 in ballet. Teaching is of an excellent standard, with both fresh and new choreography , to the more classical. The shows are of a professional standard and the highlights for all my children.”

“I took beginners course and then followed up with a month of advanced classes back in the summer. Alex is a great teacher with a sense of humour, very charismatic, fun and clear with her instructions. She does give challenging moves even to the beginners and pushes you to your limits, especially if you go into it not very fit/strong/bendy, which is great if you want to challenge yourself or get into shape. It's a shame I had to stop taking her lessons, I would have carried on if I didn't move to the other side of London.”

“I’ve learned in this studio for a year, half of grade four and half of grade five and I have enjoyed every lesson very much. The teachers have taught me a lot and were always there to support me and help me grow. I have accomplished a lot this year and I am very glad I chose to go to this studio. Even though I’ve been in the studio for a short time I have connected with the teachers and students and had a great environment to learn. The atmosphere is positive and proactive. Jack's style of teaching is thorough and encouraging. If you want to learn all the basics of ballroom and latin dancing, but you are anxious with your two left feet, or you are shy and out of your comfort zone with a bunch of strangers, Jack is the best teacher for you because he will ensure that you have absolutely nothing to fear.”

“It is my favourite Dance Studio to go to. Missie and Gee who look after the studio are some of the most wonderful and friendliest ladies I have ever met. The community they have created is so welcoming and inclusive. I love how the classes are easy to follow wether you are new to dancing, dancing as a hobbie or professional. They always make sure that everyone is taken into account and often will listen to some of the songs you want to do and try to accommodate. I personally love the commercial, contemporary with Gee and musical theatre classes. I've done a little hip hop which I am not the best at but Missie is always so patient and encouraging. I also love their workshop, they are so much fun and very varied. They have just launched their new classes and I can't wait to try them. The new studio is BEAUTIFUL! So exciting!”

“AYB is like a little family that is constructive, helpful and so brilliantly encouraging. “Adore Dance is a wonderful studio. I joined the Adult Jazz class over a year ago after a long break from dance. Whether you’ve danced before or not, Connor is excellent at teaching the relevant techniques whilst also keeping it light and fun, with some routines in there too. It’s a welcoming place, regardless of skill level so don’t hesitate!”

“As one of Google's local guides, I must say that I am really glad that I came across Iris pole's ad on Instagram. This has completely changed my perspective on how to train efficiently and smart. As someone who has never had any experience in any sort of dance or specific sports, pole became a passion rather than just a routine work out for me. But this could not have happen without the support of all the instructors in Iris studio. Firstly, the place is very convenient to reach, 2 mins away from Kilburn and 3 mins away from Brondsbury stations. It is only for women which is a plus for me personally. Great, clean and decent size changing room with racks to store your belongings safely ( this is a big plus as some other studios that I have gone, do not have this facility). They provide you with yoga blocks and mats so you don't have to carry yours. Trainees get to have one pole per person for the whole session and you are not sharing the pole with others. This ensures that you are getting the most out of your work out and of course hygiene wise it is far better and safer. They also make sure that all equipment are sanitised before the next session starts. One thing I noticed and loved about this place is that for all the new joiners, Marina or any other instructors greet the newbies, guide them around the studio and ask about about any previous experience or injuries. I have not seen this level of care in other places which puts them higher than any other average studio in London. The trainings that they give you very much depends on your level of experience. Even the combos have modifications for the less experienced individuals. So if you are a newbie, you will be given easier moves and if you are experienced you will be given challenges. However, they do not push you or make you do anything that you do not feel confidant or comfortable with. Their level of customer care is beyond what I was expecting. When I came down with Covid, I could not attend few sessions, of course I cancelled within the allowed timing (3 but what stood out for me was that they extended my membership without even having me asking for it. This was an issue with Exotica studio where they refused to provide any sort of solution for my cancelation whilst I was in self isolation. Be aware that classes get booked very quickly as they are in high demand so you've got to reserve your spot very fast before it gets fully booked, I have missed my chance few times as I was busy with other things. So if you want to book a class for the end of the week best is to do it at beginning of the week as by mid week it will be already fully booked. My advice for this studio is keep up the excellent work and service. You guys are all stars.”

It is a hugely fun group which is so good for their confidence and with regular showcases to see what the children have been working on. They are inspiring teachers who make sure that all children achieve their potential and have a great time doing so. She has come on leaps and bounds in confidence, musicality, dance skills and acting skills. It is a school that caters for all abilities, from aspiring already talented performers to those with special needs, who may need a little more help and as such is truly inclusive.”

I trained at one of the UK’s top drama schools, but since working with Robyn I’ve been able to access whole new levels of truth and emotional connection in my work. Robyn is an incredibly dedicated, passionate and gifted teacher who trained at the Neighbourhood Playhouse in NY and teaches the authentic Meisner approach. Classes are a safe friendly environment where you’ll be held to account in every moment of your work, and never allowed to settle for the general or untruthful. If you’re in doubt, give it a try - if I had my way every drama school in the country would have Meisner as its foundation!”
