Granary Thai Cafe
“I went for set lunch as recommended by a Thai friend. The food is real Thai taste with fresh ingredients, and generous portion, the price is cheap, the quality of the food is better than expensive restaurants. The place is clean with lovely decorating and the staff is friendly and professional. I ended up order more food to take away back home. I highly recommend this restaurant, if, one is looking for fresh and authentic Thai food.”
Rosa's Thai Waterloo
“We passed through for some dinner before attending an event in Leake Street. The food was absolutely divine. We had the breadcrumb prawns, which were massive and super delicious. I had the pork dish, which was cooked with crunchy, green beans and chillies, and served with rice and a fried egg on top. A really good portion - I have a big appetite, and struggled to finish it. My daughter had tofu, served with green beans, chillis and noodles, also with an egg on top. Will definitely eat here again”
Pitaya Thai Street Food
“We popped in spontaneously on a Saturday evening during peek time in Central London. The service was quite fast and friendly. Spacious seating area. The food was freshly cooked and delicious and the portions are solid. Reasonable price. Overall, a good experience!”
Lan Naa Thai

Air Time Thai
“I've only used Gaab Kao for takeaway, both delivery and collection, but it's a great Thai restaurant. Friendly staff, great prices and delicious food. In my opinion, the best noodles in town!”
Reunthai Restaurant Thai Cuisine
“Lovely food and very friendly people, 1st time going there as only recently moved in the area and will definitely be going back.”
Thai Tho Wimbledon
“Easily. By far THE BEST Thai takeaway I have ordered in London. Excellent packaging. The spring rolls were so lovely and crispy on arrival as the restaurant had purposely cut the corner of the take away container to avoid them steaming up en route. Delicious piping hot Tom Yum, Egg Fried Rice. And generous. I look forward to popping in next time. Good work Guys. Thank you”
Thai Cafe
“It was my first time today at the Thai Cafe and I had the most delicious and very authentic tasting Drunken Noodles. The service was lovely and I’m definitely going to come back to try other dishes from the menu.”
Baan Thai
“HOME DELIVERY CONSISTENCY They have free delivery for over £15. They've started a loyalty stamp system - like cafe Nero and others. If you collect enough stamps you get £25 !!!! Off next order. This is not an incentive for me because their food is so damned good anyway. I have started asking staff for reccomendations. You know - like asking a wine expert on what's best to go with what. They don't just say the special or the most expensive item. You chat with them (they're very friendly people) and you say the sorts of things you like or have had before and they will come up with some suggestions. Today's hot fresh home delivery included; Tom Ka soup. If you like tom yum but find it maybe just a touch too spicy - try Tom Ka. It's sort of milder and got coconut milk. Marvelous. Bangkok chicken. In a sort of batter. But, not the Chinese takeaway or fish n chip shop batter. It's sort of thinner and just seals in the juices and taste of the chicken. In a sauce with veggies and Zing, tang, flavour. But,at the same time not overpowering and leaving you feel well fed but not stuffed. These are the consistent results I always get from Baan Thai cuisine. And, if you think about it...... consistently reaching or exceeding your expectations is why you go back again and again. 2 years ago in summer I wrote - Thai salads Perfect for hot summer weather when you just want a light, well priced salad with that wonderful Thai zing. Maybe with a lemon tea. Perhaps share a kampung nasi goreng. I have had nasi goreng many times in Bali and Baan Thai's is equal in flavour. Slightly different in layout (Baan Thai doesn't serve Ayam pieces on the side) but then, Balinese Indonesian is different from Java Indonesian etc. .......prior reviews This is Thai and Malay food. So, all the idiots ordering or asking for HK, Guandong, or Szechuan dishes need to re-read the sign. I started with Tom Ka (Tom Yum with coconut milk). Very flavoursome. Kafir lime as well as lemongrass, very tasty white chicken meat, quartered button mushrooms cooked just long enough to absorb the flavours. Fish sauce (of course). Some people don't like the smell of fish sauce. I agree it can take a little getting used to. But, I promise you - this Tom ka with the fresh basil on top was well worth it. I followed with a green papaya salad:- mmmm that sweet, sour, hot, crunchy combination is just wonderful. Perfect for a warm day. Shredded carrot, Julienne papaya, bean sprouts, halved cherry tomatoes, fresh, crunchy roasted peanuts, green beans, some red chilli lettuce..... And the sauce!! Hot, tangy, juices, palm sugar all twirled together and demanding to be eaten. I paid just over £11 for those two items total. Not too busy at 2pm.... Couriers coming and going and a few seated customers. A really yummy lunch. Subsequent visit(s) I tried the nasi goreng. Strictly speaking this is an Indonesian dish. But, the Malaysian and Indonesian people originate from the same stock so it,a not surprising that some dishes (particularly rice dishes) are identical. Though, for me, the influence in Malaysia of Indian, Chinese and Thai cuisine has produced far more delicious variety. The Thai iced tea (without milk) is very fragrant and not too sweet. I am going to have to return many times, because everything I have tried so far is wonderful and delicious. Charming, courteous, pleasant staff (as one always finds with both Thai and Malay people). Six stars.”
Thai Restaurant YumYum
“Had a lovely meal at Yum Yum last weekend. Booking online was very easy. There is a bar area before you go through to the restaurant, the member of staff took our drinks order as we waited for friends to arrive. We finally got to our table 45 minutes after the initial time of booking but they were very relaxed about it. We began with the yum yum platter which consisted of spring rolls, chicken wings, satay chicken and fish cakes. I ordered the lamb mussaman curry as my main which came on the bone which was fine. They also do beef and chicken mussaman curries. The menu is a bit overwhelming with so many choices of starters, soups and mains. They also do various desserts and I tried the coconut ice cream which came with my friends order which was surprisingly good. Overall had a fabulous meal with friends and a brilliant evening. Expect to pay around £20-25 for 2 courses, drinks are extra. I can happily recommend YumYum in Stokey and would definitely go back there.”

Patpong Thai Restaurant
“We went on a Thursday evening restaurant was fairly busy with a nice atmosphere very buzzy local restaurant with chilled background music and nice low lighting with candles on the tables…. The mixed starter we had was exceptionally good and the wait between starter to mains was 20/25 minutes actually nice to have a chat in between and you could tell everything was cooked fresh instead of when it comes out in 5mins from the microwave in some other places we have been too. We had the salt&pepper squid the best I’ve tasted and the mossaman beef really delicious and tender the coconut rice was a large portion and the tempura cod with mild chilli and onion omg. We had so much food that we took home a doggy bag which we enjoyed again the next day. Overall a lovely local restaurant good traditional Thai food and good value we love this place.”
Poppy's Thai Eatery

“You will have to wait a while as its a 1 man show with uncle bill, but the flavours and taste are proper home cook style. To many carribean places try to get away with some sub standard rubbish but uncle bill always top quality authentic flavours. Best oxtail and rice and peas around”
Rosa's Thai Ealing
“Really love the vibe and atmosphere. Cosy Thai style. And the food was really nice! Love the new version of crispy prawn and always love the pork skewers, I can have this with sticky rice like a real Thai hahahaha. Also the drunken noodle really does it job! A real spicy dish in the UK! This definitely satisfies Asian stomach with a high standard for spicy. All the staff members were friendly and nice. And special thanks to Pook gave me a chance to speak a little bit of Thai.”
Patara Thai Restaurant Wimbledon

Thai Elephant Restaurant and Dim Sum (Da Hong Pao)
“Outstanding service and exquisite tasting dim sums!!! The Thai Elephant management should be proud of the staff, as Chinese/Thai restaurants are notorious for an impersonal robotic service, however your staff are amiable, attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable (while not being overbearing), and maintaining a professional distance. Looking forward to our next visit!”
