“At the beginning when I saw the cucumber salad, I thought it looked very ordinary, but after I took a bite of those cucumber slices, I was amazed by the balance among the sourness of the vinegar, the aroma of the sesame oil, and the freshness of the cucumber. It does remind me of the early spring days in Japan. The salmon fillet was a little bit overcooked, but I have to say that they did a great job with the miso sauce on the salmon cause it did bring out the umami from the salmon. I was here alone and it was really perfect for a quiet moment for myself after a long day.”

“A fine Japanese katsu curry in the heart of Farringdon. I’ve always walked past this little joint and on my way back home I found there was no queue and decided to eat. There are numerous options inside and my favourite is katsu. For the portion size, location this is good value. All in for £8.30 The service is prompt and polite and I sat outdoors where there are small seating areas. Highly recommended considering it’s always busy and represents good value for money!”

Fairly pricey if ordering several dishes separately. - Tuna & avocado tartare with truffle sauce was my favourite dish. - Spicy tuna rolls were decorated with roe which popped with flavour. - Crispy aubergine chips were surprisingly soft, not to mention moreish. - Shawarma & Sando Schnitzel were good sized portions.”

“Found this little Italian gem while out Alexandria Castle and it was wonderful. We had amazing service from Alejandro, attentive and very helpful. Food was spectacular, I had the Spaghetti Bolognese and it was wonderful! Ambiance is cool chic, and the windows are decorated with beautiful flowers. A must stop while your in the area!”

“Wow. This place is lovely. The staff are great. The prices are reasonable and the portions are HUGE! Took kids, hubby and mother. Kids all ordered different milkshakes and these were amazing. All ordered different food. (They do 3 sizes of burger, small (about hamburger size) 1/4 pound and 1/2 pound). The jacket potato was enormous. Cannot fault any of it. Will definitely be returning.”

“A very authentic Neapolitan pizza place with good air-conditioning. A small business with friendly staff. I had this pesto pizza with burrata and prosciutto cotto. Well flavoured with good crust! I definitely am going to there more often. Try their arancini too! Very delicious”

“A good, quick eat in. They make the pizza in front of you and the menu is vast! We got the pizza with pepperoni, jalapeños and mushrooms which was really good, and only cost £8. We shared it between the two of us. This is really not a place to stay too long and it is a quick bite to eat kind of place. Prices are reasonable and the venue is what you expect. A good pizzeria! It is also halal, the ham is Turkey and the pepperoni is beef.”

“I loved the prawn tempura Udon that I had at this place! The prawn was perfect and the tempura coating wasn't too much. The broth was delicious! My friend had grilled cod with rice which was extremely filling and delicious as well. This place is usually crowded so make sure you have a lot of time when you come in. They have toilets which is a good thing. The interiors are quite active with authentic setting. Although beware, the menu prices online aren't the same as the restaurant (the restaurant is more expensive)”

“I've been going to Vero Pizza for just over a year. Massively impressed by their selection of pizzas, I have tried at least 87% of their menu. They never fail to impress. We had once hitch when they were late, just once, but they went above and beyond to correct that tiny mistake. Not only are their pizzas amazing, but they value their customers. If you are vegetarian, their pizzas are outstanding. Their salads are not great but everything else... absolutely amazing! Stop reading now and order.”

“My wife and I stumbled upon Circle & Slice while we had some time to kill before our Jack the Ripper tour in London and OMG their pizza is absolutely AMAZING!! We are from Arizona and this was hands down better than any pizza we have had in Arizona (Granted we have not eaten at Pizzaria Bianco in Phoenix yet) but we were in shock at how lite and airy the crust was and how fresh all the ingredients were on the pizza. This place is absolutely worth 5 stars!”

It’ll be wrong to assume that establishment churns out fatty fast food, quite the contrary. Fresh n’ tasty made to order grilled food, pasta and pizza is what they offer, it’s their grilled meats is what really shines. Must try’s...... Grilled chicken burger(in homemade pita) or the Mixed grill, both scrumpy n’ yummy :) Also their drinks section is next gen spectacular, what other place offers San Pellegrino with your meal!!
