“Just went to get some acrylic nails removed and the staff were very welcoming and friendly as soon as I entered! Less crowded than the nail salons in town. Price was only £9 for removal and you even get offered a drink (I had a coffee which was very nice). I’ll definitely be coming here again for a new set of nails!”

“Absolutely great Saturday with our kids. It was awesome. We got offered a photo of our youngest. And it was really nice. We got professional photos taken 3 for 24£. That's seems very reasonable. My youngest loved the baby part and eldest loved the waves. Only let down it smells like chlorine, but expected. Eyes gets a bit sensitive.”

“Spent a 2 nights getaway with my boyfriend and we had the best time at this hotel. Staff are so welcoming and friendly. Also willing to help, we felt super comfortable. Will be back in the new year. One of the best hotels I’ve been to i even wish I stayed longer.”

“Really surprised by the high number of ‘awful’ reviews. We stayed for the weekend, 2 nights, including dinner and breakfast on both days, and we thought it was amazing value for money. The hotel itself is lovely and downstairs is very modern and aesthetically pleasing. Our room was small but very clean and we had a very comfortable bed with everything we needed. The spa is great, indoor pool and facilities are great as well as the outdoor hydro pool. Considering we are gym goers we thought the facilities were perfect, had everything we needed. Breakfast has a good buffet. Good selection of English breakfast, yoghurts toast coffee machine. Although no fruit at all. Dinner was lovely, amazing burger. The only thing I would say about our stay is that the staff could be more friendly and approachable and the truffle Parmesan chips did not seem like it had any truffle. We also thought they could promote their massage and beauty treatments a bit more, we wouldn’t have known they offered them. It seemed more like a hotel with spa facilities rather than a spa. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, and we would definitely stay again for what we paid for.”

“I had given up on hairdressers but Daisy is extremely knowledgable and advised me about what would be best for my hair, whilst still being able to achieve my ideal outcome. All of the ladies in the salon made me feel more than comfortable and it was a really lovely atmosphere. I’m looking forward to returning for my next appointment. I highly recommend Daisy and the salon overall!”

“I had a great experience when Hailey did my hair a couple of weeks ago. I came in for a cut and colouring/highlights as I hadn't had anything properly done to my hair for years and the before and after results says it all. My hair looked so beautiful like never before when finished. It looked and felt so glamorous and exceeded my expectations. The girls at the salon are all so lovely and friendly so I'm already looking forward to my next visit.”

“I have injured my leg last week (nothing too serious but won't be able to walk properly for a couple of weeks). My dog's dry food was almost gone so the wife went to Perfect Pet Care in the White Lion Walk and bought some. We usually go for the biggest bag as it works out a lot cheaper. Because of the weight, my wife was struggling to carry it home so Richard (the lovely man working there) delivered it to us on foot! We can't thank him enough, going the extra mile and helping us without a second thought! He is a stellar guy! ❤️”

And they went above and beyond to accommodate me as I work until 6pm tonight they stated open for me just to redo my nail. “Always a great experience with friendly staff. Poppy has always been someone who goes above and beyond. The bar team provided me with honey, lemon and mint (in hot water) for my sore throat, and it worked extremely well. I also seemed to lose my credit card on the sofas; however, fortunately the bar manager found it and rushed to return it to me before I left the building. I did not catch the bar manager's name, but I am very grateful to her. Thank you and see you soon.”
