Food in the restaurant was also of a really good quality .From a purely personal point of view and for the price paid it would be nice to have bathrobes and face flannels. “Met with family Saturday evening and had a lovely meal. Restaurant is housed in the railway station building at Chislehurst which is a bit unusual. Parking in the station car park is fairly easy. Service excellent, food very good. Had sea bream and husband had skate. All served with fresh vegetables. Everyone had an enjoyable evening in a relaxed atmosphere.”

“We called for an appointment for mild paeds toothache and received a same day NHS check up (unheard of?!) with dentist Claudia; she made our 8 year old feel at ease (and gave him also some maths challenge as well). Thankfully, reassurance was all that was needed. The practice is spacious, bright and newly refurbished; friendly staff; fully recommended!”

“Our lovely local wine shop! Offers great selection and portfolio of wines from around the world, from Chile to Australia and to Argentina or Europe. If you're a wine lover then it's a must stop by and you'll soon become a regular as the pricing is very reasonable unlike supermarkets, and quality is far far better than those own-branded supermarket wines. If you're a connoisseur you can still get some useful tips from the ladies working there as they really know their wines!”

“I have just discovered this really lovely cafe/restaurant on a trip to Chislehurst. My meal was delicious (good old fashioned shepherd's pie with vegetables). The prices were very reasonable and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. In my opinion The Chestnut is one of the best cafes/restaurants in London.”

“After going to our normal vet and was told are dog needed surgery and it was going to cost 10 grand. We decided to get a second opinion. We phoned vet after vet and finally come across the ark.. We spoke to Charles and he agreed to see belle, the best decision we made. The surgery was done the week after costing us a fraction of the price, the after care has been brilliant and is still going on. Any concern we have had he has seen her within hours or the next morning. All the staff there have been friendly and helpful. When you go there it does not feel like it's all about the money but the dogs (Or animals) best interest..”

“The best takeaway fish and chips that I have ever eaten. Fresh, moist fish in a well cooked batter, accompanied by fat, delicious chips. The food was still hot and in perfect condition, when we arrived home. Highly recommended.”

“I'm really impressed. The table is really top quality and every bit as good as what the adverts show. The glass table top is nice, smooth motor controls, sturdy, all the electronics work well. The drawer has a nice soft close, and inside soft cushioning. The wireless mobile charging works fine - it's not fast charging (but not advertised as so) but works completely fine, just like my other wireless chargers. I've not tried the USB ports yet. I couldn't find a better competitor out there that does anything like this table. For home working it is great.”

“The staff here are lovely and friendly and the service is relatively quick. After I pick up mine and mum's prescription or when I do the shopping for her, I always go in because come on its Costa! Why make an iced latte or coffee at home when you can come in and get people to make it for you? (it tastes better anyway)”

“It was a very nice place for a Sunday roast day with a group of friends. Great decor and very friendly staff. The roast chicken was great but roast pork seems a bit too “gammon” hence a bit salty. Beware that the parking along the main road needs to pay parking even in a Remembrance Sunday!”
