Brooks & Gao
● Closed“Really good iced coffee which was surprisingly quite strong! The cinnamon bun was unusual but really tasty and not very sweet so was right up my street. Would go back to try the brunch. Tables and chairs were a bit wobbly so you had to balance your eating experience a bit - but good all round!”

Staff were very friendly. Will happily go back again. If you are vegan and looking for a good plant based coffee in the area, check them out. It's a Little Wonder!”

Winchmore Hill Cafe
● Open744 Green Lanes, London N21 3RE, United Kingdom“We ordered takeaway breakfast from here and their service and food was wonderful. Im not usually one to write a review, but I was so impressed I thought they definitely deserve the praise. When the order arrived, an item was missing. When we called to advise, they were so helpful. The missing item was delivered so promptly, alongside a complimentary drink- they were so friendly and apologetic. Food was totally delicious- hot, great portion sizes. Will 100% be ordering from here again.”

Hidden Coffee
● Closed“When I moved to London in September, I knew I would have to find "my shop" here. & Hidden Coffee has met + exceeded every expectation I've had! The coffee is excellent, milk texture/temperature is always perfect, and they have a knack for hiring the coolest and sweetest staff. Also, they're insanely fast for specialty coffee (you do have time before your train)! I go in almost every day, & couldn't recommend this shop or team more highly.”

Borneo Cafe & Bakery
● Open“There’s no shortage off cafes on Green Lanes, but very few you’d want to visit twice. Borneo manages to get it right: good food, great coffee, pleasant staff and a welcoming space - buzzing but relaxed. The panini are terrific (try the goats cheese and roasted veg) and the (Turkish-style) apple pastry is a revelation.”

The Tea Cosy
● Open“Was looking for a local cafe for a vegetarian breakfast with good reviews, we were originally going to another cafe but luckily we decided to try this little gem! We were warmly greeted and seated quickly (given we are in the midst of COVID19). We were given paper menus and all the tables were socially distance well with a track and trace QR code on the door too. It was really well protected and safe for the patrons of the cafe. Our order was taken and we were served an amazing fresh breakfast with a tea each, for me it was a perfect portion (not too much and not too little) and filled me up. Refills were free which was great value given that they came free with our breakfast. The food is fresh and tasty and I highly recommend the vegetarian to fellow veggies or those wanting a leaner option. The hostesses were all friendly and lovely people, from a little chat when ordering to a joke when paying, it made this little cafe pop out and make it feel more like you were at a friends or family members kitchen for brekkie. I only have praise for the ladies (didn’t see any men but if there was them too). Cost was shockingly low and when we were presented with the bill I thought something was missed off but I was told nope that’s all it is, I will be going back for all the reasons listed above. Plus at this price it makes it hard to even make my own brekkie for less. Highly recommend this to all and remember to tip and support these business in these times, they are going above and beyond to keep us safe. Huge thanks to all of the hostesses (and hosts)!”
