Diba Persian Restaurant (Wimbledon)
“Great experience. Kids enjoyed as well. Food was delicious and well prepared. Didn't wait for the food for long. Nice decoration inside and out. Couple of chair was out ( probably for smokers). And inviable service. Thanks for making my daughter BD special. Be back soon.”
Number One Thai Restaurant
“In times like these it's a blessing to have a place like Thai #1 so close to us. It's important to remember that all their food is prepared fresh, so the meat always tastes good, the vegetables crisp, and the sauces have that just out of the kitchen freshness that you just don't get in similar places. Best place for Thai food outside of Bangkok itself!”
Nawroz Restaurant
“This is hands down the best Kurdish / Kebab place on Green Lanes. Don’t be fooled by the glitzy mega kebab restaurants down the Main Street. This is the only place worth visiting on Green Lanes. They make their own tandoori bread, and once seated you are greeted with pickles and lovely warm soup. The kebabs are expertly seasoned and served without fuss - but with tons of intense charcoal grilled flavour.”
Favourite Charcoal Grill
“Amazing service! Amazing food! Amazing portions! What else is there not to love??”
Babzen Meze Turkish Restaurant
“menu is pretty good. kebabs and meats are delicious best turkish restaurant in the area”
Alhaji SUYA Greenwich
“Loved it. I bought it to eat the next day and ate half of it before I went to bed. It keeps very well overnight too. So so nice. Definitely use maps to find it as its a little hard to find. Its located in a warehouse car park. See photos for a little idea of where to enter to find it. Staff are nice too. Watch put for the upsell though. I thought it was cheeky the lady asked if I wanted salad then charged me for it. Message to the place: The price was fair but I felt blind sided by the upsell without being told there was a price. Anyway, it was very nice. Highly recommended.”
Penang Satay House
“Fantastic service, brilliant food, and lovely people. Our family have been coming here for years, and I highly recommend visiting Satay House. I recommend lobak, crispy tofu, any of the beautiful yellow curries (the prawn is my favourite), and crispy noodles too from the mains. The gadoh-gadoh in peanut sauce, chicken satay and spring rolls satay are fantastic too from the starters.”
Yamas Greek Cuisine
“Un-freaking real. Very very very very good good. And well/reasonably priced. The best Greek meal I think I've had... tall statement I know. But this London gem is not to be skipped over. They also have things thought out so well. Counter for food for lunch if you need to run, but ambiance and intimate for dinner. Really really impressed with this place.”
The Greek Corner
“I’m Greek living in UK and was looking a place where can I have a Greek lunch and find out this corner that made me travel back home with their generous portion of mix grill oh and how can not mention their tzatziki sauce you’ll love it ! Kind staff that know how to treat their costumers. They wanted to treat me a dessert as well but didn’t have the time and the space in my stomach so for sure I’ll visit again to try their gyros as it was looking delicious and the dessert of course !! ‘Ps the 2nd photo is been uploaded as a proof’”
ELIA - Greek Street Food
“Lovely food and a place to sit and eat in a very busy part of town! I had the chicken and yellow mayo pitta. Great value for money and very filling. 100% recommend”
Zen Grill
“We had the mixed grill sharing platter. Loved the high quality and variety of the meats. We will be back!”
Roymai Thai Restaurant
“Food is very delicious and the spicy ones are truly spicy! All dishes are full of flavour yet still different from one another. Super friendly service as well.”
Mugen takeaway shop
“A fine Japanese katsu curry in the heart of Farringdon. I’ve always walked past this little joint and on my way back home I found there was no queue and decided to eat. There are numerous options inside and my favourite is katsu. For the portion size, location this is good value. All in for £8.30 The service is prompt and polite and I sat outdoors where there are small seating areas. Highly recommended considering it’s always busy and represents good value for money!”
Porto-Madeira
“Fantastic and authentic Portugese and Madeiran food and drinks.. the octopus salad and bread was so tasty. Good selection for lunch. A great place to sit outdoors also when the sun is shining. Will be back again!”
HoMe Chinese Restaurant
“My favourite place to eat in Teddington. Excellent food, from a refreshing small menu, at very reasonable prices. Great for a quick lunch, or dinner. Fish fragrant aubergine is a standout”
The Street Thai Restaurant
“Always lovely -Atmosphere is dependent on how busy it may be at the time but I love the starter prawns and the chicken green curry a shere delight !”
Sheen Fish Bar
“Tastiest fish and chips in the area. Highly recommended! Friendly customer service and halal options available”
Meze & Shish
“Had a bit of a rubbish date this evening, it ended long before I'd planned so I had a lot of time on my hands and nowhere to put it! To cheer myself up I thought I'd take myself for dinner and really just walked in here at random. Staff were absolutely lovely, and attentive, the food was totally incredible, and even the house wine just hit the spot perfectly! Definitely recommend, ended up pulling victory from the Jaws of defeat!”
Güneş Restaurant
“Nice place with really good selection of meat food. Friendly staff, good service. The food was good quality. I will definitely recommend the place for the dinner and to come with a group of people as they have a lot of space.”
Mezze Ocakbasi
“I’ve been to many Turkish restaurants in London and I have to say that this ranks at the top. The chicken was extremely soft and juicy, the lamb chops and lamb sish were cooked to perfection and the Adana had interesting herbs. Overall the meat was very juicy. I’d recommend mixed grill as the main and the Hummus with Lamb as the starters. Also their garlic and Chili sauce was very good!”
Happy Family Chinese Takeaway
“This is by far the best Chinese takeaway we have found in a very long time. We have to travel from Keston near Biggin Hill but it is worth the trek as nothing comes close out this way. The produce they use is clearly of a high quality and taste is both exceptional and consistent! The price is also very good.”
Barbers bazaar
“Best takeway in North London. The food is great and the staff are warm and friendly. Great selection of veg dishes with the samosas and papodums a must with every order.”
Tirana
“If you are going to come at here and you have never had Albanian food before I suggest you have the Tirana specials first. I love the Tirana bean soup with meat prepared teh traditional way. Absolutely delicious and definitely get the drinks from Albania. Glad I finally stopped by this restaurant after passing it for many months.”
Le Bab
“Loved it here, we will definitely be back and absolutely recommend. Book a table so you’re not disappointed if you have to wait for a table. We booked a table, were seated, and ordered using the QR code. The food was served super fast! We got hummus, the fries, a chicken kebab and the pork and beef brisket kebab. It was all amazing. The food was just absolutely delicious and we loved the atmosphere of the place.”
Atlantic Fish Bar
“love this place. food is excellent quality, big portions and great value. the owner works alone and is a very friendly guy. highly recommend”
Gourmet Sushi, Notting Hill Gate
“Unexpectedly excellent! Doesn't look like much at first glance and you wouldn't think it's that good, but the food is wonderful and the quality to price ratio is amazing! Large, quality portions for cheap prices”
Sticks'n'Sushi Canary Wharf
“Great sushi spot in Canary Wharf. Very intimate atmosphere despite the proximity of seating. The food was incredibly done and even with the variety, everything was fresh and tasty! Great spot for special occasions or for a lovely date night!”
Peninsula Wembley(Malaysian Street Food)
“Found this gem just by a chance last Monday. Was not really hungry so we thought just order 2 dishes and 3 of us could share but when they said their roti canai were freshly made not the frozen ones, we gave in. We ordered banana leaves w mutton, nasi lemak beef rendang & roti canai w chicken curry. OMG the mutton curry was out of this world! Just like mom’s cooking! And a big shoutout to the beef rendang! Hit all the spots. We can taste the TLC in that beef rendang! Feel like raya ok! Enough said. Roti + chicken curry didnt disappoint as well. We were happy campers! Keep up the good work guys. We’ll definitely be back whenever we’re London! Or a branch in Birmingham perhaps? We totally had our epic ‘Le Festin’ moments that day. Thanks for the such lovely food!”
Khomali Albasra Bakery
“I ate doner in Italy from original Turkey owners and it was awsome, I ate as well in Germany from Turkish owner and again it was awsome, but when I eat it from you lads, it was speachless! By far the most tasty and fresh one I ever had. Hope you never change and give always fresh and tasty! I wish you all the best!!!”
spicy fish
“Good mix of Malay, Singaporean, Thai, Chinese cuisines, etc. To an acceptable authenticity for british standards. Fair and good portion sizes not to scoff at. Great polite service. Spice ironically not too much as a lot of cream added to some dishes, although this raised some scepticism at first, the food was delicious. Pricing is very fair and affordable. Great food, can't argue with the great quality. The mixed seafood noodle dish had perfectly cooked squid, (which we all know can easily be overcooked and rubbbery) so my grandfather could easily eat it, whilst often he will pass on the squid simply as its too tough. Only mild complaint is the very bright lighting which is quite glaring for a dinner meal. Otherwise absolutely would reccomend and will come again.”
