Carlyle and Gee were not fazed at all. They new exactly how to locate and deal with the repair and taking photographs as they worked. Then full service MOT and our car returned fully valeted looking brand new. “I think I’ve actually had the best haircut of my life here. I loved it so much I didn’t want to wash my hair but then when I finally did, the cut is so good, my hair just fell back into place!!! My hair never does this. I was apprehensive about using a local hairdresser as I’d always been to the more known London ones but I couldn’t be happier. Having the musician on the stage and acting at the same time was brilliant. Never seen that before. Would definitely recommend.”

“We had such a great time at Pickled Pepper Enfield's Gruffalo party. The team clearly know their stuff when it comes to entertaining little ones and kept an audience of mixed-ages happy and engaged. Really appreciated the level of personal service too, the booksellers made an effort to engage with every child there and helped them all pick out a book to take home. The space is lovely and laid back, you could happily hang out here with a coffee while your kids browse and read on the beanbags. Do go and check it out!”

“Fantastic intimate theatre. The Funny Side is a must see (£15). 3 or 4 comedy acts as well as the host. Comfortable seating, bar with beer and wine (go near the end of the interval to avoid crowded queues)”

“We are fortunate indeed to live near the Lexi, as it is a delightful cinema in so many ways. First it is comfortable and welcoming in both its cinemas. Secondly it is truly independent and consequently shows films hard to find in both major circuits and independent chains. One can enjoy a coffee or a beer and some nibbles at its 2 bars. AND it is very reasonably priced , offering generous discounts to those who join the Lexi club. Best of all, profits go to a worthy charity running a village in South Africa. I would move to this city just for this studio. The teachers are so wonderful and invested in our success. The space is open and bright. We all get our own pole too, which is a training game changer.
