International Swimming Academy
● Closed14 Cathnor Road, London W12 9JA, United Kingdom“Why did I choose the International Swimming Academy? It all started when I visited my friend and I saw all her little daughters swimming like a dolphins! I was really impressed by ISA system and at that time I was only pregnant, but I knew I wanted the same for Pernille :) My Daughter started her lessons when she was 9 months old with just a trial lesson... and since then I saw how important is for your child to start early so they get confidence and get used to water. My daughter is now almost 2 years, and this is the best decision I made. I see how she improves every week, she enjoys every second of her lessons. She loves the environment, every teacher which are all wonderful! So really I can’t recommend them highly enough. Communication and management from the whole team, is perfect.”

Chelsea Swim Spa - Swimming Lessons Chelsea, Aqua Aerobics Chelsea, Baby Swimming Classes Chelsea
● Closed“Booked the Chelsea swim spa as a surprise treat for my wife and she really enjoyed it and so did i. It's an amazing spa pool and it's great fun when you switch on all the features like the jets(really powerful!) and the bubbles! You get the spa all to yourself during the hire period and it's completely private while you're using it which is a nice luxury. We would not hesitate to go back again. We loved it! ♥️ P.s one reviewer said that there were no changing facilities. This is not correct. There are small tents in the pool area that are private and that have been provided for you to get changed in. Also the reviewer said that the pool was full of other users. It is possible to book the pool for your own exclusive private use on weekdays but you have to request this and ask the owners what time slot is available.”

Splish n Splash Swim School
● Open“My daughters recently finished their training at Splish n Splash Swim School, and I’m very happy to say that they can now both Swim. They had both had group lessons with their school for a couple of years but neither of them learnt to swim more than 5 meters. After 10 2-1 lessons with Splish n Splash, they can both swim 30 meters. I couldn’t be happier with the results. I highly recommend this school.”

Charteris (Kilburn) Sports Centre
● Closed“After retiring from work my Doctor diagnosed me with Type 2 Diabetes and prescribed medication (MetFormin tablets). He advised me to exercise and to lose weight. I joined my local Charteris gym and the free weekly Over 50s Keep Fit session where I received a warm welcome and made new friends. Charteris is a community-based not for profit centre run by committed and hardworking Director Lloyd and colleagues who have developed a popular programme of activities for a diverse neighbourhood. After 6 months attending Charteris my Doctor tested me again and found that my health had improved and that I had lost weight. He told me that I no longer had Diabetes and stopped my medication. I will continue to use the Charteris Gym and to attend the weekly Over 50s sessions as it helps me to keep fit, lose weight, improve my health and hopefully live longer!”

Charlton Lido and Lifestyle Club
● Closed“A wonderful outdoor Olympic (50m) size lido in south-east London. Extremely clean and heated year round making winter swimming possible, even without a wetsuit. Inside and outdoor changing facilities. Friendly staff and a nice mix of local leisure bathers and a friendly swimming community make for a very nice relaxed atmosphere. Some swimming and triathlon clubs train here too. There's a full Better gym on-site (which can be used for an extra fee) and something quite unique, an outdoor spin studio overlooking the pools. Some of the spin instructors are very entertaining as they motivate their classes :). You will definitely leave feeling refreshed and happier than when you arrived.”
