“Both my son (for 4.5yrs) and daughter (for 2yrs) attended this excellent nursery. The standard of care and teaching is very high. My children used to literally run in to the nursery in the morning which is a strong reflection on the positive and loving environment that has been created. The food is cooked on site and is a varied healthy menu. It really helps because my children at school now eat everything and love fruit/veg. The Management is very friendly and approachable. The Manager (Nirupa) is absolutely lovely and is assisted by her efficient son which creates a warm family environment. Any issues are addressed very promptly with good feedback to the parents. The communication and relationship with the parents is excellent. I thoroughly recommend and positively endorse this nursery.”

However the staff put my mind at ease by reasurring me, calling me with updates and doing their own research about my daughter's conditions. “I have used Miriam for over 6 months and I can tell you in no uncertain terms that she is absolutely fantastic at looking after my 1 year old baby boy. Miriam is a very kind, warm, loving individual who really takes very good care of the children. She always has activities organised for them and creates a very fun enjoyable environment to play. She has a very nice house with a large garden so they can play comfortably and safely. Another strong pull factor is her level of flexibility. She is able to work longer hours that work for my wife and I, with early drop off and late pick up if so required. All the babies in her care look happy and well taken care of. In the mornings my baby was always so happy to see Miriam and got on very well with her two adorable young daughters aswell. My baby did a huge number of activities and also went on day trips to nearby farms, children's museums, play centres and gardens just to mention a few. In the evening Miriam will happily tell me all the things my baby has been up to and any new developments. I would of carried on using Miriam for years more but unfortunately I had to move away from the area for work. In terms of child care you can do no better, absolutely excellent!! Thankyou!!”

“My daughter used to go to chickywicks a few years ago and she ansolutely loved it. My son now goes there and again he loves it also. The teachers are so welcoming and are fabulous with the children. They update me on every visit to let me know how he got on. Their dinners are varied and but very healthy. I have the option to send my son to the nursery which is attached to the school which my daughter now goes too, but i have decided to keep him at chickywicks. Definately recommend them.”

The team cares a lot about supporting parents and they’ve very collaborative when it comes to any changes due to covid and also very understanding and helpful with our family’s needs. They have an app with daily updates and pictures, and our son seems very happy at the end of every day.”

“This nursery has responded amazingly well since reopening in July due to Coronavirus. Our son, now in pre-school here, loves going. We haven’t been able to go into the nursery anymore like we used to but the staff have done everything they can to make us feel engaged and welcome. We’ve been coming here for over seven years with our children and love it”
