“A really great experience. Intimate setting, and lots of really helpful and attentive staff, which make a real difference. For us, the snacks/starters were outstanding: Sourdough, Chicken Skewer, and the Halloumi with honey and truffle were ridiculously tasty, all fresh off the flame grill. For mains, we had the Lamb and the Pork, both of which were very tender. We did find the cocktails a bit hit and miss; the feta-infused Gin Martini perhaps not to my taste, but the Banana Old Fashioned was very good. I'd probably give it 4.5 stars, rather than 5, if reviews allowed, but I will happily go again.”

“We had the tasting menu, with wine pairings, which I can't recommend highly enough! It was our first visit to a Michelin restaurant, and all the staff made us feel at home quickly. The pace of dinner was great; with seven courses, we were left looking forward to the next course while never feeling overly full, but left not wanting more. One of the surprising highlights was the bread and butter! The caramelised yeast and malt butter was stunning. The wines offered a lovely selection of white pairings. The wine pairings were a great way to explore some wines for my guests, with there being a varied selection of tasting profiles. The atmosphere was quiet for a Friday night in London. There were never more than five tables on at any one time.”

“Used to shop here when I was in London. The best market in the neighborhood. You can find anything, thousands of products from different countries waiting for you to shop. Ardil and Akif are great people, if you ask for help they're always trying to do their best. Couldn't find any market in my new place, today I was chatting with my friends about shopping and remembered here and I noticed that I didn't give 5 star for here. “At least this restaurant justifies all the hype. The steaks are good and the rest are all quite standard. We ordered the tomahawk steak. The grill garlic scallops are very tasty. Service is pretty standard. No one pull our wine on the table throughout dinner. Everything is good enough but nothing special and no wow factor. Good enough to earn a 5 star. Food 8/10, service 7/10, ambience 7/10, value for money 7/10.”

“I have eaten here on a number of occasions. On each visit, the staff have been friendly, professional and welcoming. The quality of the food is excellent. Meals are cooked fresh to order, and the portions are very generous. My particular favourite is the cheese and ham omelette. If you want freshly cooked food at reasonable prices, you cannot go wrong by vis Master Chef.”

“Great food and service. We tried lamb tashreeb and Iraqi special kebab. Both tasted good and flavourful. They also give a lentil soup as a complementary which itself is delicious. Liked their ayran also, which was made in-house.”

“Visited this restaurant on a Saturday night for a romantic meal for two. The restaurant was quite busy but not overcrowded or noisy. The staff were very professional and attentive. The food was excellent and of a very high quality. Do strive to leave room for the sweet trolley, it never fails to impress. The restaurant itself is very accessible and close to both Wallington Station and a bus stop for very easy access to both Croydon and Morden. Highly recommended!”

“I love Argentinian meat dishes, and I just had to try it. We went there on Thursday (11-17) afternoon around 2 pm, and there we’re available seatings. We were seated right away and ordered their lunch specials. Ribeye steak was perfect (more on a rare side), tender and seasoned lightly. Accompanying mashed potatoes and salad were also good. I would love to go back there for dinner when I am in London next time.”

“Went to Señor Ceviche for lunch on a Sunday and the staff was super friendly and kind. The restaurant was not very crowded and the atmosphere was great. Food was excellent and showed the authentic side of Peruvian gastronomy. I felt like I was back in Lima. I would 100% return for another experience.”

“Had dinner here with a friend. We were just looking for somewhere to eat after her gig and stumbled across this place. Was really a good decision as we were impressed with the decor and the food was excellent. The portion sizes were very generous and worth the price. My friend had the lasagne and I had the stuff chicken breast with mash and veg. The restaurant is also very family friendly and has a kids menu. I would definitely recommend and visit again with my family.”

“A newly opened addition to Hackney Wick on Fish Island. Lanterna is a welcome addition to the area. They serve good pizza with a wide selection of starters/sides to enjoy with your meal. The drinks selection is excellent for beer, wine and cocktails. It is dog and family friendly. There is a small deli area at the back for your coffee and pastries for take away.”

“Simple yet brilliant. A tasty dressed salad with French bread to start, then two portions of perfectly cooked steak in a secret sauce and crispy fries. I love the house wines, white and red both go lovely with the meal. Huge range of tasty desserts. We tend to go for lunch at around 12pm, by the time we leave a line has formed out of the door. Staff are attentive and professional no matter how busy it gets, which is why we keep going back despite price increases - it's worth every penny.”

“Attentive waiting staff and decent pie. Pie took a long time to come which was the only downer although it was good when it came! Really like this pub generally though hence the five star. Would knock it down to 4* for pie slowness but imagine it was a one off.”
