The whole team is wonderful, enthusiastic, friendly. Daniel as the main coach, Ocean as the kicksisters’ instructor (lady only class) and Shakira running the machine are amazing people. The teachers are great with the children and patient with us adults with all our questions! It's been a difficult year through covid restrictions but the school has kept the children engaged and moving and have always put the childrens safety first as everyone is now back together. “My three children attended JMDS for 13 years. They attended all classes on and off , but particularly thrived in the dance classes from classical ballet through to contemporary and street jazz. My son stayed until he was 19 years old reaching his advanced 2 in ballet. Teaching is of an excellent standard, with both fresh and new choreography , to the more classical. The shows are of a professional standard and the highlights for all my children.”

“I can't speak highly enough about Rachel and her team at Spotlight Dance & Theatre School. My girls have been involved with Spotlight since they were young, attending the Friday classes (with some great presentations at the end of the term to see what the kids have learnt and how they are progressing). My girls are now older and attend the Saturday morning classes and they love them. They thrive on the opportunity to perform and look forward to the Musical performances and can't wait for this year's show (having missed out on live performances during the Pandemic). I trained at one of the UK’s top drama schools, but since working with Robyn I’ve been able to access whole new levels of truth and emotional connection in my work. Robyn is an incredibly dedicated, passionate and gifted teacher who trained at the Neighbourhood Playhouse in NY and teaches the authentic Meisner approach. Classes are a safe friendly environment where you’ll be held to account in every moment of your work, and never allowed to settle for the general or untruthful. If you’re in doubt, give it a try - if I had my way every drama school in the country would have Meisner as its foundation!”

“I trained with RAaW back in 2012-2014, this was a really transitional experience for me, not only as a writer performer but also as a person. The training is intense and of the highest quality, covering everything from emotional availability and acting for camera, right through to stage combat and comedy writing. The course teaches the truth about the industry, encouraging the student to to be a well rounded performer and creative who makes their own opportunities. RAaW has a warm supportive, family which makes you the best performer you can be. Since the course, I have explored lots of creative paths with the tools that I was equipped with, I am now a writer and poet as well as a performer and am constantly evolving and changing. RAaW taught me the importance of creating your own work which has been not only been hugely rewarding on a personal level but has also lead to some fantastic career opportunities!”

“Both my daughters have been to Katey's House in Ham - I can't recommend this nursery highly enough. It's such a wonderful place for the little ones to thrive. It's in a lovely setting with access to lots of green space; the kids learn about all sorts of fascinating things and even grow their own food and bake their own bread every Friday. The staff are both professional and warm with the children and give you every confidence in their level of care. The preparation for "big school" is also excellent - with an adorable graduation ceremony and lots of talking to prepare them for the milestone. In short, so much effort goes into making the children feel loved and happy, and both my daughters have thrived there.”
