She even snapped some pictures of us in the crosswalk. We also had Sunday Roast in a little pub. The perfect end to a great trip.”

“My son and I wanted to see what the Thames had to offer and the Thames Rocket experience was the perfect option for us. We are not big fans of the long tours so this option allowed us to have a bit of excitement with a bit of history about London provided by our fabulous tour guides. “Our company hosted our annual Summer Party with Thames Boat Cruises & Events this year and we could have not spent the day any better. The weather was good and everyone was in a great mood. We booked 5 hours on the boat and were served with delicious drinks and food, we had a good DJ onboard who entertained us and the five hours flew by quicker than everyone expected. All the staff were friendly and helpful, the planning with Lester from the organisation team was smooth and easy and we certainly look at booking with Thames Boat Cruises again for any similar company parties!”

“Second time on the RIB experience, and although the weather was rainy, our guide was amazingly upbeat, and I've never laughed so much in ages. Hurtling from the Thames barrier to Tower Bridge at 40 knots in torrential rain, with a James bond soundtrack, with the accompanying flapping of 8 transparent ponchos, was a sight to behold. Worth every penny!”

“Really enjoyed our boat ride to Greenwich, fantastic value-£18.50 for a 2 hour round trip taking in all the sights then free time to explore Greenwich. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice Greenwich is to walk around and how much there is to see up there, especially the park and maritime museum. The guide on the boat was also very good- engaging and interesting information about all the sights we were passing, including more obscure facts. You also have a choice of sitting indoors or out on the deck.”

“Had an amazing afternoon tea here. The restaurant is beautiful! A real Instagram-able place overlooking the Thames. Food was lovely and included a glass of fizz and a coffee after. And lastly the staff are super attentive and very accommodating. I’m a stickler for service and I honestly thought they were amazing. Defo recommend.”

“I bought the tickets online for city cruises 24th hop on hop off. A good value for family. We get on in London eye pier then all the way to Greenwich then back to Westminster pier. You will have a total different view from boat of the city. Very comfortable in the sunny day. The narrator on the boat was so funny, making your journey more enjoyable.”

“A very well organised London river cruise. We boarded at 12pm and we were served a champagne three course lunch. There was a life band in the restaurant, the boat was very clean and spacious. We sailed for two hours and had some nice views around London from the river. A different way to enjoy Sunday lunch, well worth doing.”

“Best way to see London and eayiest way to get into the centre and to Greenwich. Cheaper then the river bus if you show the ticket office a travel card or Oyster card. Takes the same amount if time as the river bus. Double decker boats, open top desk. Coffee and food, snacks and bar all on the boat and bathrooms. Live or recorded commentary in English but free headphone so you can hear 7 other languages. Friendly staff, amazing views. They also offer special boats for Afternoon tea, Lunch or Dinner cruises also very good. If you want to go to a London attraction you can save money by buying the tickets with City Cruises. Highly recommend this, better then sitting the tube / subway train in London.”

“I wanted a good value hotel close to terminal 5. Massive comfy bed, great shower, good staff, good location, good value. Lots of bus options to T5. Slightly dated fittings and the sound proofing wasn't great (some noise through door and walls), but neither was a significant issue. Overall, good value and I would go again.”
