“Had a great experience at Apna Des. It was late night and they were about to close but they were kind enough to serve as as their last customers for the day. Ordered Chicken Karahi and chicken biryani and got the suggestion for Garlic naan which was really amazing. Both of the main courses were lovely, loved the quantity too. Staff was really helpful specially Annie, kudos to her. Overall: 9/10 Definitely going back very soon”

“Chinese lad at the counter 10/10 service quite polite. Good food I recommend the sweet and sour chicken 10/10 would buy again. Ate at the new world takeaway the other day and found this much better. Btw I got my suit dirty and got it dry cleaned at ash-dry cleaner and got it back at the same day.”

“Went to this amazing restaurant in the neighbourhood. I always prefer to eat meat but this time this vegetarian restaurant served the purpose very well. I ordered Aloo Piyaz thali with sweet lassi and everything was on point. The kind lady from staff was very helpful. Ambience was great with good choice of punjabi music. “We visited as a group of 6 and experienced excellent service and food. I was impressed by the quality of the food. Tried the Lamb and Chicken Biryani, Lamb was better in terms of spice. Garlic Chilli chicken was fantastic as was the mixed grill. The Manager was helpful and offered great service too.”

“Went for late breakfast just now and had a Set 2. Food was cooked, to my opinion, perfectly. Egg, Bacon, Sausage, Mushrooms, Chips, Beans, 2 toast and a mug of tea for £7.50. In today's climate that is well priced and considering it is a High St location I think great value for money. Parking on the road outside too. They have 5 stars scores on the door rating which made me want to try it. Under new owners from when I went years ago and they know what they're doing. Will definitely go again.”

“Took my friend here first time..service was great and on point.we orderd aubergine and potato meze which was served with salad and toasted bread the cold meze was mind blowing we could taste each and every flavour. For the mains we had grilled ribbs.and salmon with chips and salad.the salmon was well done it was perfect.price wise this place is same as all turkish places. Will recommend sultans.”

“First time for me..went to the one in gants hill.we were seated very quickly as we didn't book.service was fast and prompt. Food was served hot.we had sauté chicken which came in a thick gravey and stake chips. The gravey was very salty .our starts were mind blowing cod bites..I could taste the coating on the fish it was so tasty never had anything like it.would recommend this place for family and friends.prices are reasonable.”

The chicken shawarma was top notch, nice, juicy and had flavour to it, not bland as most restaurants!! A good portion too. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend trying this restaurant!”

“Lovely Keralan food and friendly service. I went there around 5pm on Saturday and was not busy at all. The staff were very friendly and polite. I had masala tea and masala dosa. The tea was very nice and had that typical Indian spice notes. The dosa was lovely , accompanied by Sambar and coconut chutneys. It was all very tasty , especially the Sambar, which had a very authentic taste. I can definitely recommend this restaurant for someone who fancies some Kerala food.”

The meat was lovely and lean, family enjoyed the doner also tried cheese burgers which were very similar to McDonald’s taste! Staff explained the history of the Ottoman Empire which was very interesting. I pray for their success and recommend you try their doner the taste was amazing!”
