Restaurant with bar area in Enfield

“The pictures really don't do it justice. I thought I had had "good Italian food" before but this is a different league. "Pineapple juice" never looked this glorious before, very fresh. That octopus! Wow, great texture, a satisfying bite but not at all rubbery, somehow with an almost charred flavour. Then that mash, with flavours something like garlic? Apple? I don't know and I'm not sure I want to know how the magic is done. Why spoil enjoyable mysteries? The risotto main is stunning, what a showpiece, also delicious. Took my time to enjoy it both visually and to dig out and eat the meats. All the flavours balanced. So light tasting, but so filling. (I am a little bit in love with that fish plate). ...but for desert somehow my stomach found space. Pear and ricotta cheesecake, maybe some subtle spice in there? Again wonderful textures, melting but also with an enjoyable chew. Lemoncello, made by them, gorgeous smell, clean refreshing taste. No sugary syrup. Very pleasantly surprised. I could never cook this good and I wouldn't dare try. My words don't do it justice either. I could go on. Best to just come back here. ASAP. Definitely, the best meal I have ever had. “Warm and friendly place to get fresh and tasty cod and chips. My son always gets the savaloy and chips. Always more than enough chips. In the short time I waited you can see her regular customers are there and also people who have moved out of the area come back. The history behind this shop is undeniable and very endearing. May try a pie next time on my way home from work.”

“Saturday evening in October, friends brought us here as they recommended. Quite busy, the word has spread! Family run, such great service, very personable team. Food was fantastic, all home made , authentic dishes. Lots of great wine choices, several from Le Marche, the family's origins. Bill very reasonable, too. Would highly recommend! Was a perfect base for working at the London Film Studios. We did upgrade to a premier plus room as would be there 3 nights and it was exactly as described. Reception staff were helpful with extending our stay and making sure the room was kept refreshed.”

“A very good roast indeed. Good gravy and lots of it!! Cauliflower cheese was proper cheesy, yorkies were good, meat very nice and pigs in the blankets - a nice touch. “The room is clean and everything else is neat, tidy too. I only write this review because of other low rated review that was written before and I was worry before I come BUT NOT anymore after I am staying right now on July 2022. Everything is great especially with this price. They even put microwave and refrigerator that I don't see it in my Marriott Hotel that I stayed last week. For your information, it is a little far from train station and NO air condition for American. Other than that I can't ask for more with this price that is around the same as HOSTELS and NEARER to London than other cheap motels, hotels with your own clean room.”
