Thai Town
“Had lunch using their lunch deal. The food was very tasty, freshly cooked and with good ingredients. We tried noodles only and thought their spice level and cooking was super! Main course portions were very good. They made my pad si ew spicier for me, which I really enjoyed. Note: The soup picture was taken after I had eaten some, hence not the best picture sorry. UPDATE: their panang curry is delicious and freshly cooked for you, as you can tell by the lovely crunchy textures of its vegetables. Good thickness and level of spices, so aromatic!!! After years eating their food they're still top of the list in the area for us :D”
Lazy Chef
“The reviews here don't lie, it is really good! With generous portions of great quality food you can feel very well fed for a very reasonable price. You feel right at home in the melting pot of Forest Hill Station. Greeted by friendly staff and prompt service. The menu is extensive offering good meaty, sweety, and healthy options. I left very happy, and will visit again soon.”
La Baita
“Absolutely amazing! Food is 100% traditional and delicious! Food you crave for when feeling like Italian. The staff provide customer service and genuine passion that you just dont come across anymore. Tried it last week and immediately re-booked to bring friends. Special shout out to Silvio and his Sicillan friend he worked alongside tonight. (Sorry don't know to spell, but he was tall and handsome) To top it off. I had a bad day and they listened and turned it around with kindness. They are busy and work their hardest Recommend 100%”
Jugaad Kitchen
“Delicious food and really good service. The roti and the black daal were our favourites. The price is also incredibly reasonable. Would definitely recommend!”
Sutton At Hone Fish Bar
“Fish as good as Masters in Waterloo Rd and they have won best chippy before. Quick service with a smile but best to phone with big orders or at busy times. Parking out side usually possible.”
Fusion grill
“The fusion kebab tasted amazing. The portion size was huge. I also had the honey glazed wings and they were amazing too. I think I have found my new go to takeaway”
Vijay
“You’re in for a surprise! Not much to look at from the outside but you do walk into a very Kerala household decor - soft lights, woodwork and a very chilled out ambience. The food was brilliant- we ordered the beef and two types of fish curries with Kerala parottas (bread) and some steamed rice. Spiced well - not “burn your mouth off hot”. Staff are lovely - had a nice chat with us and made sure the service was top notch. Value for money but mainly a great meal served up by some great people! P.S. - too hungry to take food pictures :(”
The India 2 - Best of the City
“Lovely restaurant. First time for us, won't be the last. Excellent, attentive staff. Place was busy on a Wednesday night, food superb. Well done guys.”
Nazran's Indian & Punjabi Grill
“Excellent. Authentic tasty well prepared Indian food in a big modern clean kitchen. Friendly fast service. This will be my go to Indian take away from now on. I can’t wait for the small dine in area to be open. It will also be licensed. Perfect.! If you’re living nearby I highly recommend popping in to meet the people face to face that will be cooking your lovely food.”
Wood Flames Pizza , Authentic Italian Pizza & Turkish Pides
“Very tasty authentic pizza at reasonable prices. Also a nice owner, can see he cares about his customers and the quality of the food he makes”
Alto Gusto
“I went on a recommendation and was not disappointed. Freshly cooked, delicious food. All the staff were lovely too. We had pizzas, pasta and seafood in our party of 12. Everyone loved their food. They do children’s portions too. I would definitely recommend and will be returning.”
Uncle Wrinkle
“Simple Cantonese food at reasonable prices. Not over-seasoned (MSG junkies may be disappointed). Takes cash and cards. The ginger and honey tea was the perfect way to battle a cold. Pleasant, helpful staff.”
Al Baladi
“Got a catering service for a party of 25 people from Al Baladi. The food was excellent, got a mix of pastries, falafel, salads, hummus, mujaddara, mutabal, kibeh and several other items. Portions were very generous, and delivery was on time. Would definitely recommend and order again.”
Fig Tree Grill
“This place is by far the best place for the perfect kebabs and wraps! I order from here weekly! One of the best restaurants in potters bar! 10 out of 10 for me!!!! :) so glad it’s right near my house. Thank you for always delivering perfect food everytime!”
Grilandia Chiswick
“Was walking past this hidden gem, the interior is stunning but the food is even better!!! Staff are excellent, super clean and hard to find a restaurant to this standard. I definitely recommend this to anyone. The food was sooo damn good, the lamb was tender and juicy, hummus and salad was fresh and tasty bacalava!!! 10/10”
Salisbury Cafe
“Excellent food at great prices and brilliant service. Food cooked to order and as required (even asked how I wanted my bacon cooked which is very rare these days). Cafes like this are becoming rarer with people choosing chains but we should support family run businesses who actually care about their customers. Highly recommend this cafe”
Lisboa Loja Ltd
“Amazing toasted ham, cheese and tomatoe sandwich, lovely cappuccino and of course Portuguese custard tart. Great find.”
Bite Café
“Definitely recommend this place for a good breakfast. Customer service was a 10/10, the man who takes your orders is so lovely! Pricing for the food was good and affordable. Food was delicious. Overall the customer service made breakfast enjoyable.”
FILTR by Coromandel Coast
“Great and warm welcome from Kat (Barrister) as soon as I walked in, very friendly, warm and energetic. She made my drink to absolute perfection. I love this space and find it a calm place to study. So glad I have somewhere I can go too just round the corner with amazing coffee.”
Royal Teas
“Our favourite local brunch spot. Amazing coffee, smoothies, breakfast bowls and eggs at very reasonable price! Worth the wait”
Café 108
“I love this place! It's one of the local cafes in my area and its been a staple for a quick breakfast or lunch run while working from home. My family and I occasionally go and have Sunday brunch as well. The staff are always friendly and the clientele is varied to say the least (keep fit groups, cyclists builders and families) but the cafe is doing something right as everyone keeps coming back! Great portion sizes and a varied menu means all tastes are catered for. The only thing I would advise is getting there at a good time as it can get really busy and you may have to wait a while to get a seat inside the main area (they do have additional seating at the back of the restaurant with patio heaters if it gets a bit chilly).”
French's Cafe & Catering
“Very friendly locally owned business. Super breakfasts, the coffee always excellent. The selection of Welsh Rarebit variations in particular is very tasty.”
Lakeview Palace Cafe
“We were here just for refreshments but if I knew of this place in advance, we definitely would have had a munch here but from what we got, they were nice, can't go too wrong, so nothing bad to say The place it self was nice but the views you get from here is its USP for sure, especially on a nice day, weather wise. Getting here via public transport, Elm Park (District line/Hammersmith & City) would seem to be your best bet. Suttons Avenue (Stop S) via 165, 365 and 372 for buses. If around here again, we'll grab a bite next time.”
Chai Lounge
“Cute new coffee and yoga shop at 121 Northfields Avenue. They also sell cute gifts; bought the coconut soap and rose petal soaps, as well as a selection of incense sticks. Shop local! Really friendly owner and my partner tells me the coffee is really good! They do Reika and other wellbeing activities like yoga.”
Tokyo Pizza
“Delicious Asian fusion pizza! Really good balance of flavours and ingredients so it's not too overloaded with fighting flavours. The crust on the pizza's are great too. Highly recommend the Salami and the beef short-rib pizza's, both really moorish and the beef is juicy and tender. The short rib croquettes starter is another winner to try, maybe not with a short rib pizza as it can get a bit too meat heavy which we found out. A really nice restaurant in the heart of Maida Vale, if you're into your Japanese culture then you'll love the dark decor and the more secluded tables. Staff were lovely, friendly and efficient. Prices are good, slightly cheaper than central London prices pizza but the dishes with the more luxury meat will cost you a bit more. Didn't try dessert as the pizzas are very filling, but will definitely come back to try!”
Rocket Barber Shop Leyton
“Great consultation and very pleased with final result, best haircut I’ve ever had”
Zagros Barber Gents Lounge
“Awesome service and very good haircut. I have come here for the first time and staff is fantastic, kind and very welcoming. I would highly recommend you for a haircut here and you will not regret. They have also given me free bottles of wine for the Christmas.”
Majestic Wine Islington
“Second to none when it comes to customer service, year after year, and the selection is interesting and varied.”
